Had my first weigh last night (that is the first weigh in after the first week of dieting) and lost 2lb. I'm pleased as i haven't felt hungry all week (hurrah for SW) and have my period so suspected that the scales would reflect this!

Well done kay for 5lb! Sounds like you deserve it with all your fruit and fish.

Thanks for all the recipes everyone. I hope i'll get a chance to try some of the sweet things at the weekend.

Katia - I went to UMIST (went it was around!) and it was horrible trying to eat healthilty at uni when you're sharing kitchen space with 7 other people who live off naughty things. I only managed to keep to a diet during the holidays so it sounds like you're doing really well! I'm trying to think of anywhere that you might be able to privately weigh in but apart from somewhere like lloyds pharmacy type places (when it's quiet during the day) i'm stumped.

Good luck with this week people!

  • Hooray! Weighed in this morning and I have lost another pound. That's 11st 8lb now, which is still fat, but less fat than I was.

I also do up to 500 crunches a day and I'm going great guns on this, my stomach is tightening up all the time.

Well done Pip, I wish I could tighten those tummy muscles but with a back injury I can't do things like that.

Which reminds me - I MUST make my cake
