We have a scheme here called ReFurnish which recycles household stuff and appliances people don't want and they help to set up new homes for those in need. It is either free or very cheap depending on circumstances. Is there anything like that in your area? We are rural Devon so would have thought most places are as good as here?

Or the famous freecycle?

Or Ikea?

And if he has an oven he will need at least a baking tray to do his chips on and a grater to put cheese on them!

Havent got an oven yet either, hoping to get a microwave from somewhere:rolleyes: think we got a spare kettle somewhere.
