If you're a British citizen you don't need to apply for a visa before you depart. On the plane you'll be given a bog standard form to fill in and you present at immigration when you land. Immigration will then issue you with a visitors visa providing there's nowt wrong.

The immigration form you fill in on en-route is the usual name, address, dob, why your visiting etc.
