If on Primus 2 calls are free weekdays from 6pm - 8am and Weekends are free from Midnight Friday, does that mean that we are charged from 6pm - midnight on a Friday.

    Thanks

No. Evenings are 1800 to 0800 Monday to Friday and weekends are (in effect) 1800 Friday to 0800 Monday.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    Hi,

If anyone is missing an email from Primus.

Check your Bulk or Junk mail.

It may be going there as spam. This was the case with my Yahoo mail.

I was also waiting for an email from Primus.

I phoned them and rep told me there was some delay with emails.

Then I was checking my Junk mail few days later, and discovered that the Primus emails were sitting there all the time. lol.

The industry process states that both the gaining and losing operator must write to you with your switchover date (this is to help prevent slamming). If you didn't receive confirmation from them then they are not complying with the industry regulations and could be subject to a fine.
Well it might state it, but only BT let me know, when i spoke to primus they just said if BT ha said that iw ould go over on a date then i would now be with them

Like others on here, I've not received a welcome pack 3-4 weeks after setting up the account, nor have I had any written confirmation that I've been switched!

Customer services seem to ignore E-Mails, and talking on the phone to them doesn't confirm the date they require payment, etc.

Getting to the point where I'm considering switching away!

After the long wait for any info because they had taken down my email address incorrectly, I went to logon to my account for the first time to be told there is a problem with it and to phone them. They seem to have more than their fair share of problems.
