    Hi all,

This has been touched on before (and yes I am "ignoring" all other posts for the moment), but need your feedback on this please.

We're sending out a lot of vouchers and some of these are going missing. All I'll say is from the time they leave this office to the time they are supposed to get to the orderer, somewhere they don't seem to be getting there, for some people.

    So what do we do?

I mean, if you order a voucher and don't get it, by all means send us an email and we should either refund your PiggyPoints or send you a new one. But what if you don't get that one either? Do we keep on resending?

We're sending all orders of £40 or more as registered post, but it's not really cost effective for us to do this for a £5 or £10 voucher.

    Any ideas?

    Darragh

Not being picky but my £40 of Boots Vouchers weren't sent by recorded delivery. They arrived safely though, I think electronic vouchers would be best too......prevents being lost in the post!

    Darragh, Dia duit :)

E-vouchers are deff the way to go for Boots etc ... And I would LOVE to see amazon vouchers .. I spend loads on there. I use R points for collecting amazon codes at the moment.. .. Any news on whether they may be offered on PB?

    Thanks

    Trish

I've joined Pigsback but am completely lost on it.

Whats the quickest way to get points preferably without spending anything)?

how often do they change the competitions?

how long does it take to get your points added?

is there a thread which is just about pigsback comps and extra points, I'm probably blind but I cant help it.

And finally I amended my log-in dtails as I've opened an e-mail account just for money saving things but everytime I look at my log-in details they have gone back to the old e-mail address.

    thanks for your help

Are the 'additional' costs on vouchers just postage or do they involve a component of payment to the partner? (Just thinking aloud - perhaps postage changes can't reduce these sorts of additions)

I think there have been various good suggestions on here about ways and means - personally I think it sounds about right to have a cut off point where the letter is sent registered and everything else goes clean and simple - but with risk if it gets lost. Depending on data so far about what/where is costing the most maybe the policy should just be tweaked where needed. But I also liked the post that offset the cost of one lost voucher against lots of registered and trackable envelopes.

I hope you can find something that suits you for most of the time in most of the cases - and although more online vouchers would be great, please keep a few of the paper ones, like Boots and Leisure Vouchers :)

On another subject - any news on the new squeezy pig opportunity? (I *think* I won one on Dec 1st in the calendar, so would love to retry to obtain a customisable beast :D )

Look at Cuppatea's post - very first post on this thread, it's all there. And welcome - you'll love this! :)

Edit: also post no 3 on this thread, also by Cuppatea, is very useful - that's where all the current offers are :)

    Hi hilary1,
For details of how to get stuck in with various bits of PB, read the first post on this thread (the first few are good I think).
There are several quizzes and puzzles that change every day and you can find the answers and links on this thread.
This is the PB discussion thread - it has everything, answers to quizzes, new things people spot on the site, thoughts and complaints aired eg when some points done get added automatically and even a visiting PB dignitary called Darragh (who incidentally would be a good person to ask your question about registered email addresses). There isn't a thread that is limited to pure info because a lot of the intelligence comes through us all chatting - don't worry it's unusual for this thread to run away for pages and pages and be unmanageable.
    Hope this helps :A

Agree with droopsnout for the option of extra piggypoints per order to cover costs of recorded delivery.

Although can I just point out, contrary to other members, I received my £20 of leisure vouchers by recorded delivery. Was impressed at the service! Didn't realise it wasn't standard.
  • it isn;t worth making all the voucher recorded delivery - even at a basic level that is a hassle for everyone who isn;t at home during the day and then has to collect the items from the sorting office

such a high percentage of postage gets through on time that it makes no sense to go to all the extra expense for the sake of one or two surely?

I have no problems with pigsback charging more than the voucher value because essentially I am getting something for free. If we wanted the voucher value to match the PP we pay then we may lose all the click throughs and other freebies which would be a shame

Pigsback works as a hybrid site where you can earn decent shopping points and have a bit of fun too.

    Let's not overcomplicate it
