:hello: Morning All
Blimey, I didn't realise so many of us would be on here already this morning, wasn't expcting to see the thread yet so thankyou
Won't be doing too much DFW this weekend as am very busy. Going to London this afternoon to the comedy club and for drinks for a friends birthday. Already paid the entry and bus, so will just be drinks and some food but that shouldn't cost too much as should be eating in a weatherspoons and will probably only have one drink or I may feel ill for the ride home (if anyone is ill it is a £50 charge, I don't normally get to that stage now anyway :rotfl: ) Other than that it should just be drinks where ever we are. I have £20 to take with me so I will try to only spend £10I will let you all know how I get on. Then Monday it is my boyfriends birthday so it is his birthday weekend
So for this weekend:
Have done today's free scratch - won £5! Wohoo! The most I have ever got on a free one and now I only need 40p to withdraw and still leave 10p in there and that's only after 2 weeks of doing it!:j
Will try and check banking tomorrow
Check for mystery shops
So even less than I thought :rotfl: I will add to this list if I get to do anything else.
Have a great weekend everyone.0 -
Morning everyone, hope you're all well this exceedingly cold morning!
I hope to avoid spending too much, but I do have to do the weekly food shop and although I have a list, things throw themselves into my trolley. I am currently being haunted by the idea of a Baileys beside the fire in the evening
Will be doing most the normal things apart from online banking, as my bank doesn't update at the weekend, just terrifies you witless on Mondays

Mornin' all
Well I have checked the bank, no change, but then I didn't expect there to be!!
I have to get the TV choice today so 40p spend and thats it for today, not sure if I will get OH out for his walk, its a bit slippy underfoot......no desire to have any broken bones in this house, espceially mine!!!
I had a letter in the week from Lloyds, I have a loan with them which finishes in July, they were offering to lend me more money as 'I had such a good record with them'.........it went straight in the shredder.....no thanks mate, I am about to change my bank account to another bank that does not pay their employees large bonuses when they have been given huge amounts of taxpayers money!!!
Apart from anything else they closed our local branch, the nearest one is in an area where you cannot park and the traffic wardens lie in wait in gangs, the next nearest is a bus ride away in town.........so I am voting with my feet, the bank I am changing to has a large branch in our local shopping mall, so much easier and I can get to it either by bus or car...........and I can draw cash from the machine without penalty........I was not amused last week when I read that LTSB (my Bank) had paid for a junket to Austria for its corporate clients...........on my money......they don't sent me on a junket why should they send anyone else!!!Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Morning all, quickly droping in as i have a class in a min. Got to chatham its freezing here. Nightmare getting here as no Northern line was running when i got the tube station. I have used a train voucher to get here though return which saved me ten pounds.
Have spent so far 3.50 on a meal deal for lunch
and 1.50 on return bus ticket here to get to the uni from the stn.
There is an outlet centre across the road ill be going to before home time see if there are any bargins to be had!!
Will pop back in late this eve
Have a good day everyone!!Debt for Tallie - JUNE 2009NATWEST LOAN......5000.00CREDIT CARDS........5000.00STUDENT LOAN.......7500.00TESCO CARD..........1000.000 -
Fay - don't bother listing DVDs on Ebay as they now don't let you charge postage, which means you have to start the listing at quite a high price - which means people might not buy! If you are going to, wait for a free listing day. Other options are musicmagpie and Amazon (you can charge £1.25 postage).0

Ta lillian - had a look for face masks - no luck really....sorry
Read through now and waving to you all.
Piq last night - some smoked salmon fell into my trolley - I smacked its bottom and put it back on the shelf.......................the nice coffee however - hid under the recycled loo roll - Phew so that one was safe ...........................Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
