Well i have to say i have been had been using them every 2 weeks for the last 6 months as once we get out benefits we do a shop so i would say that i am hardly a new customer and they have never not been paid or there ever been a problem with a payment.
Like others here i will be cash only from now on as i dont need the stress or need to be worrying about losing my bank account.
I think its disgusting for a company who says they are trying to help you save money do this. Like i pointed out to them that £100 was nothing to them but to me its all i have to pay bills and live.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

This happened to me last year and asda customer service were as helpful as wet bog roll.
I had been using them for a year when they took 2 amounts from my electron and took 3 days to refund, left me penniless and no money to pay for gas (pp meter) I only got it so fast cos my bank were really good and helped.
been using sainsburys since then and they are great0 -

I had this problem when we had a LTSB debit card, it is pure lazyness of asda to clear the pre-payment checks, it put us of useing them too
this goes back a few years now, so shows they dont actually care the problems they cause:rolleyes: :mad:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

I hadn't heard about any of these problems - I shop all over the place: Sainsbury, Co-op, Tesco, Aldi, wherever its cheaper on the day. I shall certainly give Asda a wide berth in person and online. I know they are cheap but I do compare everything in minute detail and there are bargains even in local shops, and I can manage without them.
Thanks for this. Would like this to be widely known to the buying public, it's a disgrace. Anything queried on Tesco online service is dealt with immediately - not that anything like this ever arises.Bankrupt 11th June 2008

The whole thing gets my goat but there ads try to say we are your friend helping you save money and i guess as someone in my current position i am the target audience. So this really shows them for what they are and once i have made the decision that it it really is it for me and i wont be going back even in store.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Well following off from this story i did as i said i would and took my 2 weekly budget along to Lidl to see how far my budget would stretch and i would say i am really pleased with what we got there. They had some great deals which we of course took advantage of and so far i think i will be going back again although we may try Aldi next to see what they are like but anything has to be better than Asda after there games.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
