Well, despite me saying I wasn't cooking dinner tonight coz I'm not feeling well, I saw a receipe I wanted to do in the new cookbook and my housemate went and got some more ingredients so we are having baked stuffed potatoe and cheese and ham risotto. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

Hi all - at last! Been a rubbish day at work today, been so busy and things been going wrong! Also have bad gum ache, hurting ear and ulcer both on same side of gum! Not sure what is it but it hurt the other side last week and I used some medicated mouth wash and it went but now it's back the other side

Well today I haven't done too much coz been busy but here is the list of done and to do:
Done mystery shop including free lunch but did buy some mini cheddars
Written up mystery shop report and now off of probation after my first job - Horaay! :j
Look for more mystery shops
Will check bank
Will do free scratch
Get petrol as didn't get it yesterday
Buy stuff for and make boyfriends birthday suprise Tiramisu (it's his favorite
but if it goes wrong I will make a victoria sponge and ice it and perhaps do a picture of Iron Man out of icing on it (he loves Marvel)
Iron and pack for the weekend (well, I am out from tomorrow till Tues so packing for a bit more than just the weekend:rotfl: )
Buy some tights (hopefully a good but cheap pair) for night out for friends birthday tomorrow0 -
It actually turned out extremely snowy here today which was lovely, but it's raining now. T and I ended up having a day at home in the end, apart from an unscheduled school run when B got sent home 3 hrs early due to the weather. Lucky I don't work Fridays.
1) Scratchie x 50p ( Friday bonus only 50p instead of the usual pound
)
2) Used OH's new laptop to look on here for important info re PPIs and Managed Loans.
3)Entered some comps
4) T and I made microwave flapjacks with some oats that were festering in my cupboard.
5) Last night's leftover colcannon for lunch. Mm-hmm!
6) Played lots of online games with T that he hadn't seen before for free entertainment. Spent many an hour helping Charlie and Lola Hula-Hoop. ( T is also a fan of this thread's doggy pictures!)
7) Had a targetted offer through the post for newspaper MOCs + £50 MandS vouchers. Seems to good to be true, but signed up anyway as worth a punt. Fingers crossed.:D
8) Online survey.
9) Received LVs in post from a survey which I will save.
10) LSD - £2.10 on paper and emergency Mini Cheddars.
11) Posh-ish pizza from freezer for dinner as we won't be leaving the house again today.
Not too bad for a lazy day! Have a good evening everyone,

I've had the worst day, and it seems set to continue.
I'm going to try to post this again, it's disappeared three times now!
I received a letter from BT today demanding payment for my broadband, and threatening legal action if I don't pay up. This despite it being my first letter and having cancelled my broadband on the 1s December last year. I even have two emails from BT confirming closure of this account.
After an hour on the phone to BT, and being passed to 7 different people and explaining myself 7 times, no joke, I wrote every single one's name down, I finally get told that my account was never closed, but not to worry it is now definately closed. I said sorry, but that doesn't make me feel very confident can I please have this in writing from BT, and here it is, this is what a joke BT is, the operator has to write a letter to her manager requesting a letter! What a joke! As you can imagine I said I don't care if you have to write 6 requests, I want a letter to hand to my solicitor because I am pretty sure this is not the end of it.
I was then reading Martins email advising people to be prepared for the worst in these uncertain times, so rewrote my entire budget for the year, excluding all overtime payments, and am happy to say that I will manage without if needs must. It's about £300 a month less than I'm earning now. If I get extra, I can put it into paying off my debts earlier.
I've been off sick for 2 weeks with my back, its an ongoing problem due to a serious injury as a child and another accident at work two years ago involving a 110kg patient. I've been worried that once I go back to work they may cut down my hours due to my health, so now if it happens I don't have to stress about it, but instead spend my time just improving my health.
I also worked out a new snowball but couldn't add it to my existing ones, so I re-registered and saved it under a new name. I also checked my credit report, so am now happy and feel much calmer.
So due to all of this, I never left the house today, so that's NSD number 8. I'm also having dinner from the freezer.
Hope you all have a good evening.
Cheers
Casper
