Morning all!
Very snowy here! Piglets speech therapy group cancelled, and won't be able to get him to Mums later so another day stuck in for us. Think we're both going very stir crazy! Not sure if I'll even get to work. What a shame
Going to try and cheer little one up today so am not going to be doing housework. Bath first thing and will then get all his craft stuff out.
Anyway, heres todays efforts:
* Check on-line banking
* Storecupboard dinner
* Make cookies with Piglet
* Make Valentines Day card for Piglets great nanny (sort of set a precedent after we sent her one last year after she admitted she'd never had a valentines card in all her 88 years!!)
* Use up dry bread by putting it out for birdies
* Hope e-mail comes saying work cancelled
* Washing at 30'c
* Airer drying
* Have argument with MIL about her stupid intention to go and collect step-kids from where they live 30 miles away (its their weekend to come down but I think its ridiculous to consider going to get them in this weather !)

Managed to find 5 Pigsback points last night online - a small delight!
Will no doubt get the marketing call from Select Holidays today telling me I've 'won' their competition (they called yesterday to tell me I was on a shortlist, "Oh aye, timeshare?" to which they went a bit quiet);
Will check Quidco;
Will have a bowl of soup afetr a lunchtime run and a free shower in work;
Will clean the car this weekend inside and out;
Will view two potential new houses - fed up with noise from downstairs and time for a few place with walls that don't connect to anyone!
Oh and write a response to the FOS telling them that just because I have continued to meet monthly payments on a credit card debt I am disputing does not mean that I agree with the credit card company, it just means I don't want them to ruin my credit card and then spend the next year trying to sort that out :mad:Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Ooh, very early for me! Today I shall be taking T out in the cheapest way possible whilst avoiding shops. It has started snowing a bit here again today and is too icy for the beach / park but I'm sure we'll come up with something.
I'm feeling sparkly now. I popped into the supermarket for a paper this morning after I'd taken B to school and got stopped by a market researcher. She went to put me in the 18-25 age category. I'm 34! :rotfl: I know it sounds sad, but it did make my day!
Enjoy your day everyone, see you later.

- iron 10 items from the pile !
- empty 2 drawers, sort through and chuck out crap
And see what else I can get sorted in my life............Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -
Hi All,
Its Friday....at last!!!!
Today i have/will:
* Done my daily scratchcard, won 10p
* Book hotel in Cambridge for Valentines. staying on Friday night next week instead of Saturday night. Saturday was 50% more than Friday night, rip off. Plus having valentines meal on Friday night too, save some more money and use money off vouchers from MSE email thank you.
* Wont be a NSD, as have a few little bits to get, but aim to spend less than £10 today.
* Checked online banking, looks in order.
* Go to work, make some money lol.
* Have a look in LaSenza for Valentines outfit, looking for something cheap but nice.
Think thats it for today.
