everyone is entitled to complain and the ASA have told toys r us off so i am sure it will owrk fine for everyone on here. just dont delay do it asap

PS my mate just got his in store but they had all 3 games so no halo2 for him !

Quite frankly I think this situation is exactly what this site is for {but that's only my opinion} to all those that think Toys r us are being hard done by here have a ponder on this.
How many of these leaflets do you think they put through letterboxes along with the local freesheet?

How many people thought WOW bargain I'm off to Toys R us for my bargain x box?

And finally how many of those people who DIDN'T get an Xbox just thought Oh well sold out and then spent the next 30 mins to 1hr filling their trolley with all sorts of goodies they never intended to buy?

Toys R Us tried to pull a fast and devious marketing con and got caught out that's the sum of this situation they deserve what they get! It was a slimy trick the type of which are played on consumers day in and day out in this country, its very rare a company pays the price Toys r us will end up paying but they will still probably end up in the black on the deal, because they conned far more than are actually going to claim!!

im not trying to convinve anyone to do anything just saying what happened for me and replying to people asking questions its up to indivivduals to do whatever they want not for you or me to decide or influence. anyway im happy with my xbox and sos me mate but if anyone elses didnt get one and wants one for xmas here ya go thats all imdoing mate

youre right mate 100% they tried to sell peoples the £150 one instead and some people did buy it having gone all the way ther so they are quids in. its juss wrong what they did and the asa told them its wrong and they are out of order.

I have no doubt in my mind this was their only intention it was meant to be a "loss leader" without the loss!
