hi loo, no thi is for the whole uk. just reserved one for my mate in croydon as well which he is getting tonight

I have just contacted the Croydon branch and they are refusing to honour that deal as it has apparently ended. I stated that i know someone who has reserved on a couple of hours ago and the lady i spoke to nsisted no1 would be getting that deal from their store.

If you manage to get 1 m8 let me know who u spoke to so i can contact them or even better if possible try collect 2 and i'll pay you for it.

its easy to get this in a moral and legal way if you want so please do it the right way. they have to give you the offer dont worry just complain to ASA asap!

hey nitewalker please read the thread properly. the offer is over but toys r us did something illegal and so if you comlpain to asa then you get a letter telling you to ring toys r us head office and they will sort you out. you dont just ring the store direct as thats a waste of time. so go on ASA first an complain and have a read of the thread proper like an you will be sorted too mate dont worry.

You dont contact the branch personally, ring the number in the 1st thread and they will get it reserved for you

Why should someone get one if they didn't write to the ASA ?

im not really one for these sorts of things but i HATE toysrus as a company....so it would be good to get my own back

i once bought a truck for my 3 year old boy...went out of the store....checked it and noticed that once of the doors on the container had broken off..went back and didnt have any more in stock and wouldnt be getting anymore...so i asked for arefund and they refused....after 1 hours stress and quoting sale of goods act, ie, not fit for purpose, etc...they eventually gave in. AWFUL company.

they lost all goodwil with me when i noticed them try to sell me an me mate a £150 xbox instead of the £90 one when they pulled it so they obviously tried to do us by getting us in to store and then they can make more profit from pulling the deal. thats awful they wasted an hour of your time. you should have taken em to court they will son get the message if we all did that to them.

I say good luck to anyone who can make the most out of a loophole, toysrus wouldn't hesitate to make a fast buck out of us given the opportunity.

That must have been Reading - the staff there are dreadful - always try to get to Basingstoke if I can - staff are really helpful.
