    My other credit limits are:

Freemans £1100 ~ had account since 1996, but not used much.
Next £4600 ~ had account since 2004, used alot :o
Littlewoods Direct £1350 ~ had account since 2006, not used much.

Agree with Proliant, Littlewoods customer service are fantastic - any issues I've had (not had many) are usually resolved on the spot.
2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017
Weight loss the old style way challenge - 7/14lbs :j
  • Yeah again agree with the above - service from Littlewoods and Shop direct is excellent. Never asked for limit increases - they just kept increasing!
  • Just opened another 15 catalogue accounts :)

Why? wouldnt all those searches damage your credit rating
  • Just can't stop

Ambrose Wilson have put my limit up AGAIN - 625 now!!! And very random - Shoe Tailor have put it up by 200 to £500!!! That was a huge shock - I logged in earlier (I log into all my accounts often to check all is ok - and 'you have 215.00 available to spend flashed up - nearly fell off me chair :D )

I use my Ambrose Wilson/Viva La Diva/Shoe Tailor accounts to buy clothes, and the occasional pair of shoes :D

Brilliant Gift Shop one is for flowers (birthdays, etc) perfume (for me - just ordered Angel and CK1!!!) and well... strangely enough.... gifts!!!

Littlewoods one is purely for entirely frivolous purchases I couldnt possibly justify otherwise. :D (2 D&G necklaces, a mobile phone and a PS3 amongst other things. But it has been used recently to buy OH's birthday present, plus a new toaster when ours broke and to send a lovely bunch of flowers to my mum in hospital)

  • If this is any help I've been with Littlewoods since 1997. I have all my statements entered into a spreadsheet since 2003 when my limit was £1600 (statement 68).

    On statement 78 - Increased to £1775
    81 - Increased to £1975
    84 - Increased to £2175
    86 - Increased to £2700
    87 - Increased to £3200
    89 - Increased to £3700
    110 - Increased to £4200
    117 - Increased to £5200
    120 - Increased to £5700
    124 - Increased to £6200
    128 - Increased to £6700
    131 - Increased to £7200
    134 - Increased to £7700
    138 - Increased to £8200
    141 - Increased to £8700
    143 - Increased to £9200
    147 - Increased to £9700

You start to see a pattern above - it happens nearly every 3-4 mths with an increase of £500. I'm 1 month away from statement number 151 - we'll see if my limit rises to £10200 lol

Surely no one runs up a bill of 10k on Littlewoods? My largest balance in all those statements was £850.
£9500 to go as of Nov 2011 :j Debt free by Summer 2012...I hope :rotfl:
  • i have an account with littlewoods, but BEWARE! if you miss one payment, youre up !!!! street. the charges are worse than credit cards, and they do a nice line in jacking UP your apr and moving your credit limit down, so if you miss another payment, you have had your chips. Their credit limits are a joke, my mother has 5k on hers. Its no wonder people in desperate situations get into big debt. i know people who have gone bankrupt on the basis of catalogues so beware. they look harmless but they arent!

Then the people you know shouldn't be so stupid as to rack up debt they can't afford to repay should they?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
