    £10k. OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Thought mine was high , before I trimmed and closed....wow!
  • I laugh at the number of people I credit check at work and it comes up like this:

    NEXT DIRECTORY
    STUDIO 24
    FREEMANS
    HOME SHOPPING DIRECT
    REDCATS
    LA REDOUTE

And then they wonder why they get declined for things ;)

The number of times I hear "But I never actually ordered anything from Next... I just got them to send me a catalogue..."

Why does it matter if people have Catalogues, it could be a matter of convenience why people shop from them.

Personally I don't see what is that "funny" about people shopping from catalogues unless your some sort of snob?
  • Perhaps weve got it wrong then?
If we all took an eye for an eye the world would be blind-(someone said that somewhere) :T

Dear Mr Bennett, you should know being in the "underwriting" business that when you view somebody’s credit file that is not exactly what you see now is it!
Under the stringent rule of the DPA, you cannot see the names of the clients creditors i.e. all that you will see is; Credit Card, Mail Order, Current Account, Loan etc etc.
So, please tell me what "illegal" methods you have been using to view peoples financial history?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

i only deal with next and cant remember what i started on. but i used to place £300 clothes n shoe orders at a time in the sale. they increased my limit to 4k.

as soon as i have 'delivery problems' they reduce it to 2k. couldnt care less tho.

    Not true at all.

We use Equifax for identity checking purposes at work, and it asks personal questions to confirm back to customers about their accounts, for instance -

1 - You hold an account with one of the following -

    a - Fiat Finance
    b - GE Capital
    c - Redcats Brands
    d - Egg Financial

    etc.

So in that respect, we can view their info.

Also, in Yorkshire Bank recently, during a check, all my creditors info appeared on the screen
