Just through to MAF who fair play to them were quick to admit error on their part.
Problem is they say it will take 7-14 days for me to receive refund which is way too long.
As payment for final d/debit is due on 11/2/09 i told her that i will pay this 7-14 days after its due date. She has now passed the call onto her manager who is going to ring me 1st thing Monday Morning. Interesting to see what he says about this.0 -
You have the solution - indemnity claim from your bank!0
-
As far as i am aware a dd Indemnity can only be calim on same day that the direct debit was lifted from your account. Am i wrong in thinking this?0

I suspect you are wrong. http://www.bacs.co.uk/BACS/Consumers/Direct+Debit/Your+rights/cheqmate06 wrote: »As far as i am aware a dd Indemnity can only be calim on same day that the direct debit was lifted from your account. Am i wrong in thinking this?
No mention of when you have to claim claim, it just states that repayment must be in full and immediate. If you have to claim straight away what happens if you are on holiday, out of the country, only receive a paper statement every month etc.?0 -
Definitely wrong.
(It would be a worthless guarantee were it true! How could folk without internet banking ever find out the money had been taken that day?)0 -
How are you contacting madasafish? Through there customer support number, because iv tried that countless times and just keep getting put on hold. I give up after 10-15 minutes! If this manager phones you back could you possibly ask for a contact number then pass it on to me

TBH i would just migrate your connection away to an enta partner like TitanADSL or UKFSN they seem to be really proactive in solving faults pretty quick.
Although they all pretty much offer the same products and prices some offer Free stuff like web hosting space and some offer Free landline calls. or just see here www.ispreview.co.uk or www.dslzoneuk.net
Im with TitanADSL and get free calls so im happy.0 -
