I'm sat here nearly crying with laughter at the thought of a back up mouse for later , thank you Fay for brightening up my day :) Bet it was gruesome at the time, but what a lovely tale to tell the grandkids!!

I was too much of a wooss when ex left us, being a practical taurean, was worried that he might listen to a lawyer and go for half of MY house, didn't like to rock the boat in case things got nasty.....think he's bringing his own misery upon himself now though, do feel smug sometimes when I see how pitiful his life is and in comparison, how marvellous and sparkly ours is - and I have the joy of DD with me every day (and poking me in the back with her cold bonish feet nearly every night).

Even now though whilst I know I probably should go to the CSA to protect his maintenance, I'm still too scared to in case he gets nasty and sets me back, emotionally.

    *sigh*
  • KK kinda see what you are saying being a practical taurean myself however i stowed mice in the freezer.

Seriously though (yeah I can be serious) the emotional stuff still gets me - to be honest I think if I hadn't have left with my kids that day I am not sure I would have them now - OH thinks now that I am mentally deranged (??!!).

He hated anything abnormal, painted toe nails, bright clothes, silly socks etc - he can''t bear it. He even use to get mad if I was in Pj's after about 7am - so when ever I see him I endeavour to be in PJ's - be it morning noon or night.

These days I only see him maybe once a year - but it still hurts like hell.

BUT like you say - they miss out on so much. He has no idea about boney babies in the bed - and how wonderful all that stuff is.

We don't get any financial help - so these days I endeavour to be as silly as possible - just cos I can be. My two are now seriously clued up about money and MSE has just turned around the way I think about it all - he thought we wouldn't cope - there's Mud in your eye matey

  • I'm peeing myself laughing here!! First with the "back-up mouse" (something every well prepared woman should have!!!) and then with Hampsterpoos arsefaceduselessgit!!!!!!

Nearest to revenge I ever got was letting the tyres down on a car belonging to a lad that dumped my friend at the time. We had the proper thingummy to do it (helpfully supplied by her NEW boyfriend....looking back, that was just plain wierd!:D ) but never realised how LOUD car tyres are when deflating! We nearly pooed ourselves and ran off very quickly!

Am sorry fay, but your Ex sounded odd! Doesn't like PJ's after 7am!? Christ...he'd have a fit if he saw this house...sometimes Piglet runs around in his till 3pm!!:rotfl:

    Miss P
    xx

i have lead such a sheltered life, no mooses or car tyres, i'm wondering if i've missed out.
I've had some mixed news at work, will please the other two in the office but all i can see is that it will make my life much harder, where's the change in that then?

Mind you at 152cm - don't suppose I will ever be a grown up.

I have never felt the need to grow up and I am 5'6" even more in heels. Enjoy being a kid, who says we can't?
