hey...was stromness I was in. Absolutely loved it. Was in a big girlie tent right at the water edge. Some of the guys I came with were seasoned travellers with their little mountain tents but I needed all home comforts.
Olypmic sillyness.....I like that idea. I will join that challenge!! Do something silly every day? oooooh, thats an idea.......:)DFW 228 LONG H 68

Hi Mrs A -
Tee hee to superglue - PBT
Being a very very good girl - I don't have very many stories of moral justice. (aaprt from a couple of past 'slips' I might have had)
The one about the toothbrush and the toilet makes most folks behave nicely.
My new OH often looks sideways at his toothbrush if he has been particularily annoying. Even now that we live 300 miles apart he still gets a bit jittery about it.
And changes it often - dunno why really
Being little - I look silly if I get angry so I tend not to lose my temper very much.
I do however have red (ish) auburn hair. Its in my celtic blood - what can I say?!:D
I use red hair and celtic blood as an excuse for losing my temper too:rotfl:
Look forward to reading your diary, you do make me giggle:DTesco: £1361.19, Vanquis: £2644.73, Very: £563.08, Next: £1636.95, M&S: £1049.92. As of 5th February 2024. Slava Ukraini0 -

We usually try and get to stromness at weekends - and park up the VW camper at the campsite and go for a walk/cycle - run the dogs - and have lunch/tea/hot choccy/soup or whatever in good old Darwin. Wonder if you saw us.......:D Darwin is Blue and rusty - a good look for him:rotfl:
Stripey looking small girlish (ok its my diary I can LOOK GIRLISH) lady (pigtails) stripey hat etc and two small terrors - oh yeah and the dogs.................
Funny for some reason it really gets on my ex's nerves to do silly things - therefore I indulge in silly things daily - and think (spitting noise) that's one in the eye for you matey.
I don't spit though - its so uncouth - and he lives in France - bit far to travel.
So to do a silly thing each day - a mission I guess for the diary also.
For long enough I have been a very glum bum. No more glumness be gone.
Trying to seriously give up drinking wine and cut down my intake - seems to be really affecting my brain
HI Bagpuss - another red headed celt - eek - will watch my step.
My nickname at home is Professor Yaffle (fay backwards=Yaf) and i was always a book worm, loved bagpuss - so thats what the family called me -Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hmmmmm - soggy parcel. I never thought of that.
Tend to be a bit more subtle - have sent the kids back with on occasion:
1kg conkers (accidentally left on the top of their stairs in a box- whoops - naughty children)
Ginuea pigs (when they lived in Scotland)
A cello
A dead ginuea pig to bury in the garden at dads
Giant sized teddies of various descriptons
Large mountain biking helmets
Tubs of beads that you iron (hamma beads) in ill fitting tubs in large rucksacks
Muddy wellingtons etc
No passports - ok that was ACTUALLY an accident but the effect was quite profound - poor daddy had to stay in the UK and spend some time with them on his own doing 'things together' - my word THAT did get vetlady very cross.
These day's though my DD tends to just unknowingly shine away and usually wears clothes to go with enough neon stripes on to sink a blind battleship - and some odd colour in her hair - has been purple etc.
As Daddy doesnt really like anything different - (she knows this) she likes to make an entrance somehow or other he does blame me.
She is an individual - very strong minded - what can I say??:TTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

That's so cute - awwwwww. Bet he loved it.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
My DD in the old house would walk past for a drink wearing scuba diving flippers a hat of my grandads and a false moustache - very casually - :rotfl:- she really is an absolute hoot - I wish I had a teaspoon of the confidence, comedy brain and timing she has.
He he to the other comment. In a tiffany box you say............somehow or other - I seem to have the reputation for exacting revenge - it was a very long time ago....;)
Anyway - didn't good old SM come up with 'do something silly/fun etc today' on the DFW small things thread - I stole it from there I think, I am very sure I did.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
