  • 'Revenge' is such a strong word..................i prefer to think....... like Unixgirl.....of it as..... moral justice......:)

Away to make lodger chap's tea and co-erce um persuade the young folk that they might like to help if they require any 'electricity' tonight ie tv, computer etc.

Soup - veggie home made for us - 17p Mr T value tomato for him (he doesnt like veggies)
    Stir fry
turkey - reduced, noodles (BOGOF) and 10p bean sprouts and some veggies of a slightly bendy nature and yet still nutritious and crunchy (ish).

Must put out a breakfast list too for tomorrow and then I can sort out his brekkie tonight (our usual ritual) he eats very early in the AM and I don't like surprises - a great trick I learnt from my surrogate mummy (Grannie Annie) give your B and B guest a brekkie list the night before - at tea time - BUT - after they have eaten their tea (when they are full) and then they mostly don't choose as much to eat - but its all good, as the college pay for him to be here Monday - Friday.

Yes it was chilled and 'old' iyswim. What a subject for a thursday afternoon! lol. Fay I'd really love to hear what your [STRIKE]revenge[/STRIKE] moral justice was, please? :o

The only other one I've seen (I didn't do this I swear!) was a former supervisor of ours that wasn't liked finally pushed his admin too far, she put a chemical in his tea that made him pee blue!!!!!
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

  • Hi Mrs A -
Tee hee to superglue - PBT

Being a very very good girl - I don't have very many stories of moral justice. (aaprt from a couple of past 'slips' I might have had)

The one about the toothbrush and the toilet makes most folks behave nicely.

My new OH often looks sideways at his toothbrush if he has been particularily annoying. Even now that we live 300 miles apart he still gets a bit jittery about it.

And changes it often - dunno why really:confused:

Being little - I look silly if I get angry so I tend not to lose my temper very much.

I do however have red (ish) auburn hair. Its in my celtic blood - what can I say?!:D

  • OK NOW FOR THE SCARY STRIPEY SOCK FINANCE BIT

SHUTS EYES AND HOPES FOR THE BEST - HOPE ANY OF THIS MAKES SENSE?!!

    RBS loan - started£8,000/now£3088.40 (160 - 29th each month)*
    Lloyds loan – £5,000/£1,874.03 (100 - 15th each month)**
Loan from penguin boy –£2900/£2745 (£145) 0% due when I can manage***

    Barclays CC – [limit -3000] through debt company – £2300 (50)****
Captial one CC [limit -500] – £495 (usually pay balance each month due 12th Feb)

Lloyds CC – [liimit 1000] £250.28 (usually try pay balance each month due 2nd march)
Student loan - £14k,ish (no payment yet)

*RBS is really high interest - last 3 months interest was £120 - not sure what to do about this at all - any suggestions welcomed.
**Llyods graduate loan, really low interest its under 2k now - woo hoo
***Loan from penguin boy (exexex) at 0% its amazing what a bit of guilt will do
****This was agreed over the phone during my very much head in sand time I defaulted andn was chased up on it - I pay 50 a month - i THINK the interest is frozen with it but never been brave enough to phone them - must dig out paper work.

I use CC's for food and petrol - I have used my two 1000 overdrafts to pay off the cc so live in OD and use CC to pay for daily life.

    Any better suggestions welcomed.
I figure with less money in bank (i am not fooled into thinking I have more)
So I pay the full CC each month - but forgot and only the DD for the min went out at Xmas - and I got interest which really annoyed me so hoping diary will help with that.

I have 746.19 CR in my savings account - which is where I dump money from lodger etc etc etc - had to dip into this in January to pay off cc and write some cheques.

I haven't paid much back to Penguin boy lately - he has annoyed me - so I put the payments (2) into my savings account til I simmer down. The deal is that I can keep the money until April 2010 when he returns to the UK or pay him back gradually -

Phew its horrible looking at it all in black and red

Scary debt of loans - including student loan £24017.43
Excluding extremely scary student loan £10,017.43

    EXTRA INCOME
Extra work I do at the moment:
    Dog sitting - £40 a month
Lodger chap B&B - £125 a week - expenses about £50 ? (I use this money to pay for a Cleaner £25 and then need deduct some money for his food/electric) probalbly clear about £300 a month - but he's only with us for another 6 weeks or so

Lodger girl - £250 a month at the mo - then up to £285 on 23rd Feb here for a year
    Plant sales: ?
    Extra sales and work:?

    Any ideas welcomed.:D

Off to find my original SOA - to see how much I might have shrunk it from to cheer myself up - Not much better
    Original SOA In Aug 2008 - Total unsecured debts..........£30253 (this included both 1000 o/d's). - bad - and I was £300 a month short on my ingoings/outgoings -

Apart from making some normal payments and changing the debt about a bit thats how I have got it down a bit - all the good advice on here - shifting things to lower interests etc - its not much of an improvement - my income has gone up though slightly - I guess I should be pleased?

But its just made me think how far I have to go - argh. I need to tackle this a bit more head on.

What do folks think about student loans? I know its a debt - but I don't really think of it as one, its v scary cos that's my biggest one......
