Just thought - if I ebay myself to death (stuff not ME...) I can maybe manage to cover some of this extra monster expense - a roll over of maybe 4 months of house (which is necessary to get this one) - even with the current house having lodger money - is not mean feat.

Maybe I need to ebay my excess stuff etc - means less to move etc

I know its not very short term DFW to have a rental period cross over - but c'est la vie I suppose - otherwise it would have been gone.

I'm excited but now feel a bit OH god ish re rent costs

House here - 650 (lodger money £285 at mo - til June then in June/July that will be 600 a month) Net rent cost in March/April/May £365 - June/July £50

New house - 540 (potential OH contribution 270) signing lease from March or April so rent for me is £270PCM

Oof, its a long crossover period, what a pain. Of course, the bigger picture means it doesn't matter - this is about providing quality of life for your children before they fly the nest.... ebaying and whatnot sounds like a good idea - I've just been reviewing what I've got on amazon myself.
