Arghghghg - Just had an email from a couple looking for a room for 3 months - june/july/august
Although my lease is until the end of August - my landlord has said he'd like to be in during August if he can - do I email him and chance my arm
Or do I give myself less hassles and say sorry I can't help them?
Its potentially 900 quid.......................Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Maybe say to them you can help them for 2.5 months but not the full 3?Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Another stupid question - I normally charge 285 a room per person - what on earth do you charge a couple?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

£5000 no maybe a bit excessive! I think I would charge them around the £400 mark as that would be only charging the 2nd person around half.
Oh and count the cornflakes out so they dont get too good a deal from it!!:rotfl::rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Ooh, sounds exciting Fay! Bit annoying though. Hmm. Not sure what to suggest - maybe go with the 2.5 months idea? Or even would they take 2 months? Possibly not... Don't go giving yourself unnecessary hassle! It's money, but is it worth it??
(sorry, I'm fully aware that was of no use whatsoever!)
Hello, by the way!0 -
Beautiful snowdrops, oh stripey one
I think tell the couple you can't do all of August & leave it with them. It's the fairest option & probably the one that wil give you the least hassle. I'd agree with something around the £400 mark too - hope this helps@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/?
