Hi All, sorry not been about. Got a lot going on. Faye, can you PM me your address so I can get your book posted back to you please?
How is everyone else? Faye, well done on so much coming through from Quidco. Mine each month is about 2-3 quid! I must be doing something wrong

Hi Fay - sorry to hear about the hen. You're right about not consuming if there is any question over the actual cause of death too - not worth the risk.
Another Pah from here to silly landlords who don't want people to have pets. We were lucky when we were renting - the landlord had no problems at all with her majesty.
Re grocery budget - list out everything in your freezer.....well, alright, bearing in mind it's your freezer we're thinking of maybe not quite everything! :rotfl: Then plan your meals for a week ahead aiming to use what you have. Work out how much milk, veg, fruit you need to add to it, and make a shopping list. Go, shop, buy only what is on the list, and then return home feeling smug and don't go near the supermarket again for a week.
I can confirm this actually works.
Ooh - just thought, moisturiser....not cheap by any means but possibly the best I've tried for seriously dry skin is Clinique Moisture Surge - absolutely amazing stuff. When we're in the Hebrides I use Boots Protect & perfect serum with some form of SPF moisturiser and my skin rarely goes dry while we're there. I also slap lip balm on all day, every day. If I were you though, and wanted to buy something specifically for skin (the Norwegian formula hand cream is quite highly perfumes and might disagree with your facial skin over time) I would try THIS which, at £3.99, is far more budget than the one mentioned above - in my experience Boots Expert range stuff is excellent. Avon Dry Skin SOS range is also wonderful - I have their hand cream and lip balm on the go at the moment and can honestly say this is the first winter in years my hands haven't gone dry and cracked - easily as good as, probably better than, Neutrogena.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I love the Expert range Sea - their eye makeup remover pads are superb, easily as good as Clinique "Take the day off" remover. I've got a face scrub to try but I suspect that will turn out to be discontinued as I bought it at the clearance store!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

hi fay, sorry to hear about your little chuck, hope she's happy in chicken heaven.
sofa covers are going ok, i've finished the main body of it, just need to get the cushions sorted so hopefully that will be a much easier and quicker job.
today i seem to me getting nowhere fast, still need to get dressed, have a shower and audit my mum's groups accounts. She needs them back tonight. i also need to get this place ship shape as it's horrible and doing my head in (common refrain here).
on the MSE front, i'm finally catching up on the boards, and have updated my signature, i'm below £20k!!!!!!!! and i can't beleive how low Diavalo is getting, can clearly see that it's only going to be another 2 months before it's gone. Only minor trouble is that the bank that it's with are swapping it over to their parent company, so i won't be able to access it online any more and get an instant repayment figure. I'll have to ring them up which will slow stuff down a little.
i did manage to sort out online access to my mortgage, so i can now know how little of my monthly payment actually reduces the debt. but i can also now make small overpayments and see their effects, starting with the quid i sent over yesterday to test it out.0 -
Well done LT, you've made superb progress :T
Hope chookie is now a little :AA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Fay - presumably as you have a Boots store locally you could always order online for delivery to store if they don't have it in stock at your store normally? I'm not sure if there's a min order value for that though.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
