Hey KC - how you feeling - yup got over the humilation of *you're carp* at work and braved out the just do an MSc bit - I'm not particulariy fazed by saying I'm rubbish - if it means cold hard cash - although i have being feeling a bit sorry for myself. (No really! - gave myself a hard slapping with a kipper over the weekend)

I'm not bad - I don't have any energy for social stuff yet, I'm still at the stage of clearing up the house after 2 months practically flat on my back, so life is *extremely* boring right now, as well as thought provoking. I've just sussed what you mean about the MSc - you've dropped the doctor of flowers? You're really facing the same stuff as me, but in another arena - whats the most practical way to go forward, whats the best way for me, rather than all the crazy "shoulds" out there? Good for you for finding a way - but that means I also understand feeling sorry for yourself, its a really tough process.

Well I've spent the whole (a bit) of the evening making sausage and egg mcmuffins (I made six!) and wrapped them up........and chicken cous cous with bacon for tea tomorrow

How utterly sad am I - I love them - so now I've got lots made for this week when I am busy in the field!

I even took some piccies - (that is sad!)

OUt in the field all day - bit tired so going to have an early night in a bit

got to go swimming later, just waiting to find out what time i'm meeting my sis.

sofa cover is doing well, i have very sore fingers though from pins attacking me whilst doing the huge zip bit, still loads of it left to do though so will continue later when i'm back home.

hope you do get out to your willows, OH may even wonder up to the allotment to have a go at building the raised beds.

just registered online to get access to my mortgage, i think i'm going to try and make small payments extra each month as i'm happy with how the overpayments on the other debts are going.

Fay, what a good idea - home made mcmuffins - I like the idea, but since I'm veggie, its awkward, to say the least. I've sworn to batch cook once a month - that could be my first experiment, in February. Hope you're well today.

I might ring back tomorrow - they said they had other houses and folks we'rent allowed pets - so it wasnt fair

But are the others renting a 4/5 bed farmhouse place?

I know it sounds silly, its in the perfect location directly between the two schools - rents a bit high but do-able, and they want a long let with folks that understand farms (UM HELLO!)

I dunno whether to push it some more or figure OK that one wasnt right. You're right I can offer to do the garden up etc - dunno if they'd like that?

    Stuff that rhymes with FOO

KC ta for asking - you're comment yesterday was spot on - I'm doing the whole thinking things through thing - I'd lvoe a small holding or be living on a farm again, outdoors work and me are far better suited than being indoors, even in this weather - I am beaming being out so much. (ps egg muffins or mushroom and egg muffins be great)

HB can you imagine - stripey cooking - lol - I'd posion everyone! Although a garden/cook book I might get away with I suppose - kinda keep folks on their toes so they don't notice my dodgy writing........

LT hope the holiday goes well - :) and you're not too exhausted!
