I had a clearing out session during the summer and did numerous trips to the rubbish tip with the contents of my loft......I actually managed to dump 4, yes 4 christmas trees, saved the 5th and most decent one which will be going up, maybe at the weekend as I feel especially festive at the moment :D

Every year I buy a tree then shove it up in the loft, then following year can't be 'arrised to get it down so buy a new one (wonder why I ever needed to join this forum  :rotfl:)

The last 3 years we've bought real ones so the ones in the loft were very very dusty! I am hoping that the one that I've saved is all there as every branch has a separate hinge. Maybe it's a good idea I get it out this weekend, cos if it's not all there I can go out and buy another

  • Yes, ours grows a bit lopsided so we do that, too! That, and cover the bald bits with extra tinsel!

LT - half a plot is the right amount to start on - you can always get another half or move to a full plot if you get on with it. Good luck and enjoy it!

  • We three - we always end up with a lopsided tree!

Makes placing it in a room easier I find - less choice!

Away to hit the books, got less done today than I hoped - so with a meeting later this week - its time to crack on

    Hugs chaps!!

Must pay rent tomorrow - belts tighter from now on as my final 'lodger no 1 payment' has been put in the bank - she leaves in Jan.

  • My Christmas tree is 20 years old ! Older than the kids, yes it has seen better days, puppies chewing, kids tugging, is a little naked around some parts, but I really can't let it go....
