    Hi Fay,

You sound like a woman with a lot on her stripey plate at present. Can I be a complete pain and ask you a question?

My OH is going for a DSA assessment next week as he's doing an OU degree and is blind. How does it work - do they say you need or can you say you'd like...is it a conversation where they tell you what may help with your particular difficulties? Any insight gratefully received.

    Thanks

Hope there's someone you can go to stripey girl! Stripey fingers and toes crossed!

Look at Edna! You're such an inspiration! :)
  • Hi CD - Edna has stalled a bit - lack of focus me thinks - must do better will sort a PAD out today - kinda went a bit awry in NI (no internet)

Paid today - so can pay off CC in full (both)
Must put money/thought into some christmas type things

checked credit rating thingmy and I need to chase up electrol role stuff and some things that aren't quite right.

Aside that I have to finish a class on 'Growing Alliums' (or Knowing your onions) and finalise another section (I am so slow!) and brace myself for a meeting tomorrow.

My 'field work helper' (brother who I am paying) seems to have gone AWOL - as its sunny - this is not good!!

Sunny here too, at t'other end of the country! Knowing your onions, lol, I like that - somewhere in my garden there are some naturalised tree onions, I love that idea.

Isn't it terrible how things drift without the internet? My connection went weird this morning, and I was completely bereft.

hi, thanks for the chokolit. I'm still in a grrrrry mood but trying not to explode at work. Think manager is trying to ignore my obvious anger as they probably don't want to hear a few home truths and i'm in the mood to tell them what i think. Poor old OH heard the brunt of it last night and was good and brought home choccy so it helped me calm down but he still thinks i should say something. But i've come to realise i work for an organisation where they don't want to tackle anything difficult.
  • MIne expect me to tackle anything difficult! (uh oh)

CHicken curry in the slow cooker (experimenting) reduced chicken, potato, block of cocount milk, half jar korma paste, onions, garlic, handful soya, hand ful porridge and some stock

    Smells OK......

Today - roast beef for tea - from a stash cooked ages ago, lovley - instant roasties 5p (!) and yorkies :) nom nom nom

£2sih packs of Nouvelle 12 loo rolls on offer in co-op just now - recycled and at that price OK - got two

    Walked dog couple times

Done some work, need to do some more

Paid off both CC's this month - will use for shopping etc :) trying to keep my credit score thing looking OK

Hmmm - not much else - about to have a bath. Busy day tomorrow, meeting, student in, then teaching at night.......brothers coming ot sit the teenagers and eat all the curry (family tradition now)

    Hope everyone is OK
