happy halloween, has DS enjoyed his birthday? it was lovely to see my dad open his pressy's as we weren't sure we'd get that pleasure.
Done a bit of chrissy shopping today but didn't get too far grrrrr.
Had a treat tonight, got takeaway and hired some dvd's, we were going to go to the cinema and for a meal but i think this has worked out marginally cheeper and we have 5 films to watch.
  • Ooh - super spooky punch there Fay, good work!!!

Glad you hear you're alright Fay, and glad also that the willows with funny accents were enjoyable, if hectic!

  • Hey chaps - I hope he had fun - he seemed too!

LT well done having fun with your dad and on the movie night and takeaway that's what we did after the party.

Bless DS he used some of his allowance to get lots of nacho's, fizzy juice and sweets - the rest of the party food was a random freezer assortment. (chicken drumsticks, sausages, wedges and bread all whoopsied)

We splurged on a localy made donut cake (toffee icing with cream filling) but for £9.60 (and I forgot and phoned in a panic when back from Ireland - they still made it for the next morning! PHEW) and I got reduced 'sparkling' candles in Asda when away and napkins. So I think all in all his party came in at probably about £20 - for 6 hours entertainment for 12 boys (aged 15) that's not too bad eh? (£40 for a takeaway though - but OH paid for that bit - oops and the cake....)

About to check bank and catch up on stuff - waves to all!! Glad you liked the punch EH!!

    HI Fay

Looks like you had a good nice filled with yummy goodness!

    CheeryDaff - CONGRATULATIONS

It's bucketing down here and I really need to start on the ironing!

We're off to pick up mum in a while and visit her cousin and my gran for the afternoon. Should be fun (and I get some wedding planning done too;))

    Waving!
