    Hey!

    That's a great achievement! Well done! :beer::j
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
  • Quidco for student equipment purchases so far (£88.30) if it all works, I couldnt spend that kind of money and not try and do some of it through cash back

Struggling for some of my other software so will prob need to buy that 'normally' but thus far its ok for a couple hours work.

I checked and I didn't have to use the recommened supplier and I got decent prices which were almost the same - some up some down but on the whole OK - i hope :)

  • Home from lunch and post raiding

I am being paid for the last invoice I put in to work tomorrow - Hurrah!!!! for my last trip to the land of the Shet's - before all my expense claims and my other invoices

    Talk about wierd?!

Half will pay for DS Muse tickets :) - OH paid for other half - so the other half of the invoice will pay off some CC - if you are still with me.

Or it can contribute to flights south - bleurgh - forgot about that bit.

It's funny how these things work out. Well done for using Quidco, every little helps as the ad says.

  • Don't count student loan.. figures look less scary mary.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • Full of recycled 2nd day macaroni cheese, ham and sweetcorn with baked tatties. (YUM)

Weather is foul - need to do something constructive........inside I guess.

I am now ignoring the student debt - :) away to look at whats the cost. How do folks figure things out when they do extra payments?

Absolutely no idea Fay :) But I agree - don't count student loan! I don't count mine - also up there around the £12,000 mark ish. But I only pay something like 8% of whatever I earn over £15,000 (ie, er, nothing), so doesn't register on the radar just yet :) Don't like having it there, but not in position to do anything about it :)

You're doing so fab! If you exclude student loan have you paid off more than half?? (I am terrible at sums...)

Busy here this week but trying to retain stripeyness in the midst :) Handed in full draft of PhD the other day - aarrgghh! (well, minus most of a literature chapter, references, photos - oh well, knew I wasn't perfect!)

Also working EVERY DAY at part time job (as PA to disabled woman) - she's getting married on Saturday so there's a fair bit of running round to do. At least it's cheery - she's excited rather than stressed :) Although I ended up staying extra hour today - can't do that every day!!

(am actually playing my flute in church as she comes down the aisle - first time I've ever done anything like that before, first time I've played outside house since school - and I'm rather scared but very pleased with myself!)

Just need to work out what stripey item will be for wedding :) Will have home made polka dot skirt - stripey in spirit?? :) And red velvet shoes :)

Anyway, enough waffling :) Well done to you anyway and hope all your owed money comes through - time to start wielding a big stick I reckon!

    xx

    OK

Lloyds (5%) will be paid off Oct 2010
Lloyds Overdraft (15%) by Dec 2009

These are my only 2 longer term debts not at 0%

Penguin chops would get paid off sooner if I actually pay him - he broke my heart so I resent giving him some money back If I only paid him £50 a month it would be May 2014

First Credit (Barclaycard) is 0% paying £50 off a month at this rate its cleared in Dec 2014

This is a note to me will edit in a mo with DFD if I get finger out of bum and pay off debts - trying all lodger money and current payments to see when I can free self up :)

    [Ignoring student loan]

HSstars.gifWOW this is soooo cool HSstars.gif
    £750 a month to debts - DFD - August 2010
    £700 a month to debts - DFD - September 2010
    £600 a month to debts - DFD - Novemeber 2010
    £500 a month to debts - DFD - January 2011
    £400 a month to debts - DFD - May 2011
    Minimum payments - DFD - December 2014

Now need to think about how much I can pay - just now I pay the minimums + lodger money when I can - I need to proritise this being used JUST for debts

DD's are 200 a month - so if I can pay all the lodger money as well it would mean - I could chuck £700-760 at debts

    Blinking nora
