Morning L - *waves* - nah - waiting for MrEH to drag himself from his pit at the moment. We're going to the PYO place later and will probably call into the garden centre while we're out for some more colour for the front bit of garden we have. He's finally coming around to my way of thinking re needing to fill in some gaps as it's looking a bit bare!

I was just playing with figures relating to car depreciation costs. Word of advice to everyone, if you do high mileage, you really DON'T want to add up your annual diesel spend...honestly!:eek: :D

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

See, I did try to warn you, didn't I! Mine does 62mpg, however my staggering 24k miles p.a. means that my diesel bill based on current prices is over £1700!:eek:

i'm still refusing to add up my petrol costs even at 50mpg. Usually about £28 per week!
We've had loads of excitement today - we went to a table top sale oh joy! at least we cleared £80 but strangely enough it feels like we've got the same amount of cr0p as we had before. but we've almost covered the cost of the new dining room chairs so that makes things feel a bit better.
Just need to find somewhere to sell video's to

    Hi Fay

I've been lurking and not posting as everyone seems to have had some really excellent advice and thoughts for you.

I just have to add that you seem to have dealt so well with all that life is throwing at you at the moment and you should definitely be proud of that.

Good luck for your assessment tomorrow.

Also good luck for the other meeting about your course - I'm not familiar with that kind of thing so don't have any good advice except for the old one of preparation. Plan what you want to say and think about what they may ask you.

I'm glad the stripy socks are working well and hurrah for good friends!

I went to a very fancy Art & Antiques fair today, I won the tickets in a competiton and me and my friends spent today planning what we would furnish our houses with, should we have a spare £100k lying around!!!

We then went for afternoon tea to finish off our posh day - and stuffed our faces on scones and clotted cream, finger sandwiches and lovely cakes!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Hello Your Stripy-ness

hopefully a LOVELY night's sleep will come tonight. The one feeling I had when submitting work was the sense of freedome from it (even if only for a little while). Forget it while it is not with you!

good luck for the assessment tomorrow.

Enjoy having your friends with you.

    urg x x
