Definitely a thingy-wit, Fay - keep on thinking about the reality check the technician gave you unasked for. And now that you've had a cry, use that same intensity to get what you need AND deserve. If that means connecting up to Aberdeen, then so be it.

Look after yourself, and the dodgiest of hugs .... :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Faye sending big big hugs your way. Don't let him win, he must feel threatened by you in some way. Next time he's having a go imagine him in his undercrackers and don't let him get away with it!

Fay, just remember - he must be totally inadequate in the trouser department, and unable to get it up.

And I bet he is scared of spiders and goes to sleep with the light on.

    He is beneath our contempt!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Hey Fay

Just seconding what everyone else has said so far really. I mean even if you weren't doing well (and to be honest I don't believe it at all - you seem very dedicated and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic) he would have no right to treat you in such an awful and offensive way.

I would definitely see what the procedure is for following up on his behaviour. It isn't right what he is doing to you and you shouldn't miss out as a result.

Your PhD sounds like really important work and would be of great importance and relevance to the island population. Think of the willows.....they would be heartbroken if they didn't see you each morning .. those poor little willows waving in the wind

Take care of yourself and remember to arm yourself with stripes at every opportunity.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

    *thanks guys*

Off to look out the killer intelligent specs - the stripey socks - and the very impressive wonderbra - slightly low cut blouse (yeah HP the same one - its not low cut just has the appearance of it) - elegant chigon and heeled boots.

If tosserpants can't deal with girls then watch out matey _ I will be 100% scientist girl tomorrow.

Falters slightly- hope the resolve sorts itself :).

Thanks for listening to my moaning :)
