I am wearing fluffy, stripy pink socks and non-stripy pjs and would like to put a request in for Johnny Depp or Harrison Ford. I can cook so they don't need to but I can think of a few other uses for them...

I was running along to Reasons to be Cheerful Part 3 today and one line is yellow socks so I'm now mentally changing that to stripy socks when I hear it. Love that song, when DS first heard it he hated it but when I told him it was a list of things that make you cheerful he adapted it to his own version. Lots of football stuff in his though...

Can i ask a question of any married folk or ex married folk? do you usually get referred to as 'your wife!' when mil speaks to her son? i'm wondering if she can't remember my name or just doesn't want to

my mil has announced that next year they're off to spain and we should go with them, when i said i doubted it she demanded to know why, said couldn't afford it so she says she'll pay. Now she still complains about the fact she lent her daughter 200 towards her wedding, so i'm not letting them pay and to be honest i've not enjoyed spain when i've gone there, hot sun, laying near pools or the sea just isnt' my thing
