Peedie update (its been a while)

OK now typing from basecamp (the study) - progress indeed :)

Money wise um its been a quiet month - not much of it about and what I had I lent to my brother :) and of course snuck down to Edinburgh to harvey nicks for cocktails. Receipt is up on the wall of my office to remind myself I have a life :) and for once no I didn't wear my wellies - I wore a posh top and heels :) (and slinky size 10 jeans)
    Didnt wear these
    DSC00642.jpg

Hairy is now renamed - fluffy - but not the three legged dog in harry potter - just fluffy non hairy mcclairy - he's at £490 about 85% paid off since the 9th of FEB

Grocery shopping going quite well - :) still under £75 this month

Sold some plants but not many - not listed anything on ebay have had a good few offers here and the rest can be planted in ample greenhouse/conservatory - all good (made <100)

Dotty pot had £175 in it so thats for going to dads :)

Work wise I have half my field work done for harvesting and have asked brother for a help for a bit more (in exchange for money back) so that's going to hopefully get another large chunk done this week

Still waiting for my expenses for my trip to Edinburgh so when that turns up I will be a happy bunny

Doing a £5 a day payment to fluffy - (instead of drinking wine :))

Have 20 quid in garden vouchers but need some pet stuff our garden centre is SO expensive - so I will change my vouchers for pet stuff and take the 20 to spend on something nice.

Need to do some work in Darwin but thus far haven't got my finger out and osrted that yet whoops - I really want curtains in him before we go to France. Sophies mum sent me a beautiful colourful blanket for Darwin which is now covering the horrible old seats so well that I have decided the new covers can wait until a few other bits are done :)
    DSC00450-1.jpg

£7 quid clubcard vouchers - not as much as I thought - but then again I am spending so little.

hens still laying 2 eggs aday - woo hoo

Slug count is over 876 or so - and now am only finding babies - so this is working - need to start on the conservatory though as the basil etc is looking a bit scoffed.

Some friends booked into the stripey socks B and B but not many this year so far. French student comes in July for 2 months @ £75 A WEEK so that will pay for the trip to dads :)

Also someone borrowing Darwin for 2 weeks so that will pay next years Tax

Only one lodger still after the summer I might see about anohter winter one - which will help clear more debts.

Phew that's it really - the only major development is the advent of the stripey socks shop which is a god send and the onset of free lettuce, rocket, coriander, spring onions and basil, oregano and rhubarb.

House is covered in vases of flowers from the garden but so far BRB hasnt been used as a lawn mower - lol - not enough grass grown yet, too cold :)

Ohh and garden is rotavated and ready to rumble when its time to plant things out - too early yet :)

Phew - thats it now right??

PS oh yeah have started a 101 list.........will post the start of that in a bit :)

Hugs and big huge thanks to you all without you I would not have constructed the list for the stripey socks shop, I wouldn't have known I could overpay my loan, and for those of you who have SENT me socks - I salute you - my sock collection is looking mighty fine :)

Going to have to find some stripey socks and pjs and maybe a woolly hat! Just fancy a stripey woolly hat.

Well done on the debt busting. Have you heard anything more about the house sale? Or have they gone quiet?

That sounds great, Fay - especially the free food from the garden! I've bought loads of little plants over the weekend - clumping oregano, mint, parsley, French marigolds, a money tree (anybody know anything about cultivating them?), I've still go the six tiny little thyme plants to pot on, and today I bought the quivering summit of my gardening - three scabious, which I absolutely love. Total cost of all of it - £15, two thirds of which was the three scabious, hi ho. One has to give the bees something else to feed on.
