It would be great if the weather holds up. I think we've got everyting we need, so it's just a matter of getting there now.
Thanks for the Tattie tips, good luck with yours.

Oh is having a layin, well i did as well didn't get up much before 10 which is a miracle for me, will be getting him up soon to get some stuff done.

Does anyone have a view on the system below?

The kit is £20 but includes four pods and four different types of tatties.0 -
I know it won't look as good but an ikea bag will almost do the trick
Or look for the same kind of bags - if you look for reusable woven bags - or look in B and Q or somewhere for garden refuse bags that are reusable you will pay probably about 1/4 or less of the price of those.
those are brillinat and will do the job but they are just charging fancy money for saying they are special containers, brilliant marketing idea but um you can save a fortune by going and have a dig on internet or have a rumage at local garden centres
The bags you need will be either refuse, or leaf collecting or something like that.
To be honest, it might not look good but a compost bag, a stack of 3-4 tyres or just an ikea bag (75p) two together if you want to be extra decadent - will do the trick just as well - the darker green ones will gvie better UV protection but you can easily line the sides of an ikea bag with a black bag to exclude the light or cardboard - just dont line the bottom and it might inhibit the water going out.

i am meaning something like thisif not happy with ikea type option sorry these aren't for sale but they do have them here in our local DIY shop
PS my spuds are sitting in the greenhouse sprouting away - Medman if you get a bag sorted I can send you 4 spuds !
Prob get the whole lot in for under a fiver
And ps you can always just buy a bag of compost (70l)- cut the top off, spike it for drainage and then plant 3-4 tatties - it will work just the same -Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Cheers Fay, thanks for all the tips. We're on the move again in July so not sure if I should plant any more until we're settled.
I've got a bag which I could use so I would appreciate the offer of 4 spuds. (I'm happy to pay for them & P&P perhaps by paypal or something.)
I'll PM you.
