PS Chev well done for the Nigella image and excellent on the ecology thing. I have a question for you (I am asssuming from previous statements you are in NZ) I have read about the impacts of sawfly insects on Willow (especially in river banks etc) have you heard anything about that in your area?
:rotfl:I am looking forward to Chev's fully detailed report in the very near future...:rotfl: Can hardly wait, in fact!!
How come I'm never asked for anything intelligent??
Because you are very busy and very intelligent and probably would kill me or whip me if I asked you about your local willow
So on that note is there any short rotation coppice willow being grown by farmers near you...............not seen any when out on the captain?????................................................runs off in the manner of a very very quick stripey socked person
PS where did you get your daisy tights????Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

This naked red headed chick is still 9 st 5 teetering on 9st 4......:D
However they do insist on clothes at work so I am my normal 10st at the moment due to many layers.

Nope but then I haven't been looking either. It is too late to focus on that now. (well it is only 21.50 but it has been a tiring week lol), but I will look over the weekend
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I would hope you don't go to work naked, or just in stripey socks..lol.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Hi Fay and the rest of you
I am temporarily coming out of hiding again for a while to comment on your most fab socks, excellent loan paying off, and marvellous 13000 words of literature review! Well done!
I too am wearing stripey socks todayAs I do most other days too
These ones are short, and have purple, red, pink, yellow and orange stripes
I also have on my favourite red cord trousers
I need them all this week - Stupid Evil Supervisor (let's call him SES, like a cess pit) told me that it was 'very sad' that i was aiming for the thesis to be good enough - what on earth is wrong with good enough? I thought 'good enough' was 'good enough'?
And Stupid Evil Boss (Seb? doesn't have the same ring!) yelled at me the other day for refusing to drive her car through a bus gate. This is bad because:
(1) I don't like being yelled at
(2) I have to be in control when I'm driving and able to make decisions so I don't wrap us round a lamp post or tree
(3) I don't car how disabled she is, or that it's her car (which she shouted loudly at me when I wouldn't go where she wanted), it's my driving license and my insurance and me that'll get in trouble!
(4) And most importantly - she had already annoyed me by commenting on how 'interesting' (sarcasm) my combination of green skirt and red and black stripey socks was earlier in the day. The cheek!
There, I feel better now, normal service can resume (if cooking willow in the oven is normal, lol!)

Daffs, shouting at you is unacceptable behaviour, and trebly so if she's your boss.
So  to her.
And I'm here under false pretences, my socks are grey woolly ones
Boring cheap jeans and free promo T'shirts is what I get to wear at workvery MS :money:

Hi Olive
Cheery daff- that's terrible
Mine (SES - great name) was telling me yesterday we needed to 'resolve' our 'situation' - easy I thought if he 'f*cks off' then I no longer have a problem.
Have been very naughty and emailed my Aberdeen supervisor - asking for some help re evil chops and his refusal to read anything EXCEPT a finished document regardless of length
Am now bricking it - to put it politely - I asked for my email to be treated in confidence - I hope it does .Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Lol Fay - that's exactly the situation here!
How ridiculous that he won't read anything other than a finished doc! What use is that to you? How on earth is anything supposed to be finished that early in the process? And surely he wouldn't NEED to read it if it was FINISHED because there would be NOTHING left to do to it if it was finished and therefore no need for him to read it! Ridiculous!
(Seems even more ridiculous after a few glasses of gin - hic!)0
