hi everyone thanks for your kind words about my silly episode on thursday.
My burfday is on the 17th so still a week away but my mum likes to get things in early.
I've been back to the hairdressers today and she's redone my hair and was great, and we had a chat about my nails and it looks like i do have the right colour but it's nowt like the colour on the box, so i'm still waiting to hear from the nail lady to get them removed.
Had a good day today, been into town and met some friends which only cost a drink of diet coke, and then to hairdressers and then to visit my folks, my dad's looking quite weak but he's still with us so that's a bonus.0 -

Hey Fay
Boo and hiss to your evil supervisor, comments like that help no one!:mad:
I'm glad you got help from your Aberdeen supervisor.
I remember when I was at Uni doing my dissertation, I was getting no help from my supervisor. He was really negative and kept saying things like 'you've left it too late to get this xxx done' I stopped going to see him after a while as it just didn't help me at all. I need someone to be supportive and helpful and he seemed to think I was the kind of person that needed to be intimidated or something..
Anyway on a different note, I bought a fun book today called Making Stuff - An Alternative Craft Book and they have instructions on making a lamp out of paper and WILLOW STICKS !!! So if the energy source thing doesn't work out you can always move into interior furnishings......I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Hi Makeup - I have made one of those lamps before theya re lovely - mine looked a bit like a tent
Supervisors should be nice or be shot
very black and white for me
Um this made me hoot - my mobile bill is -63.10 (yeah MINUS)
ROFL - turns out I had forgotten I needed to give a 'deposit' for my phones new contrract (deposit of £100 which was for the first 3 months) its an iphone - so having just moved house they needed some security I guess.
So now I have a minus mobile phone bill, must be the first time everand I still love my phone - although it does such amazing things - I hardly ever call anyone cos I am too busy playing on it.

The picture in the book looks very lovely, I might give it a go!
Wowza on the 'minus' phone bill.... wish that would happen with me!!
Sounds like you are having fun with the iphone?? I think I would really like one of them.
I am sure my phone is up for renewal soon and I have had a bit of a read in the mobile upgrade forum and I'm hoping to manage some kind of hard-core negotiation to get one for a good price (although I'm totally carp at that kind of thing!!!! - it never occurred to me before to try and get extra stuff at upgrade time. They would give me an extra 100 mins and I would think I was super lucky!!!)I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
