Hiya! I'm back .... just starting up on mse again. No diary (for now) but wanted to visit my mates and tell that all is well, more or less - I've been spending weekends with my sister, and not concentrated on dfw work like I have, but am getting back into the swing of it....

and I never had DMs either. Rats!

    Hi all,
Just got back from a week in Yorkshire dales, very windy but fun - not very restful as holidays go though as had friends with us, stayed up late playing board games etc then children got us up early so now I'm knackered!
Was going to be off this week as well as I'm going to a conference next week so didn't seem worth coming in for a few days (not enough time to get much done especially as lots of things take time to get going) and they don't pay me much hut I do get a decent amount of holiday - but didn't get my presentation finished in time so here I am again, and instead of concentrating on that I've been reading the last week's posts on here!! Must get my backside in gear - Fay how do you manage it?
Thinking about looking for a new job, this one is badly paid and has no prospects - came across what sounds like a good thing for me, but then thought I would find it hard to give up the flexible morning arrival times I'm used to, the nursery for DD just across the car park, and being able to pop to the shops at lunch time. Is that a really stupid set of reasons to stay here? Am I just terminably lazy? Sometimes I think I must be bonkers doing all sorts of things to save money and make a few extra pennies instead of just getting a better job!!
Fay I have this idea that one day I'll buy some land (busy saving up for it slowly!!) and one of the ideas I had to make it pay for itself was to grow biofuels like willow, so I may be back for your advice!
Anyway must crack on with this - feel free to kick my backside!

    waves back!
hope you get the work sorted out, i always found the last minute stuff always have less bull in it and got better grades but that's a long time ago.
funny thing about your computer typing backwards, not seen that before, my works place just often lets you type, press send and then wipes everything off the system.
