been bit self absorbed since last week and its just taken me an hour to catch up on life in fayland. Scary looking Good. Dm's looking better (ive never had any either).

I would go for the office in 3rd room. 2 lodgers is enough or it could feel like running a full time B&B!!

hi there all ( I was going to say girls, but then thought that a) that might be a bit patronising, and b) I think the hamster is a boy?).

I can really sympathise with the 'oh fcuk it' feeling at the moment. I am feeling a bit down cos of bl00dy new zealand immigration. They have been SO INCOMPETANT through out the whole process, far too much to detail here. Finally they send me through my work permit. I am over the moon it means I can legally stay here for 3 years, and worry about my residency in a year or so. BUT it is only when I actually look at the dates on the permit, that I realise it has only been granted for ONE YEAR! Talk about from highs to lows.

It means I have ANOTHER BATTLE with these stupid people, because the reason I wanted 3 years, (and was told over the phone this is what i would get), is that it takes about 18 MONTHS to do the residency permit, yet they have only given me a work permit for 12 MONTHS. So what the hell am I supposed to do for the other 6 months :mad::mad::mad:

So I really sympathise, with you and your arsey supervisors, having wobblies over working, facing slimming etc etc. Maybe all the ladies in the world at the moment have got the hump?

someone told me it's all a mess because all the planets are out of allignment etc and it's causing the world a load of chaos. Not sure i believe it all but things do seem to be in a right state at the moment.
