Looks like you're getting your head around the financial stuff. I find it difficult doing that sort of thing. Always hoping it will just go away and that's one of the reasons I have debt :rotfl:Tackling it one small chunk at a time helps, certainly you need to find out the state of play on the defaulted cc, you may be pleasantly surprised, you never know :D

That's what friends are for! Give you push when it's good for you and catch you when you're falling...

I was snorting hot chocolate all over the keyboard, it was all so funny. Maybe we will all repeat the experience again this evening. But without the risk of accidents

Hi All, (Unix waves to everyone) :hello:

had this morning off to get my hair done (local college), got 2 colours through it (both shades of blonde) for 15 quid. Feeling quite chuffed with my new 'do' although OH said it doesn't look any different!

For tonight I may need to dig out some safety equipment???

I do have a life jacket in the garage (beside the freezer of carnage) maybe I should wear it just in case - you know incase of - accidents?

I also have a climbing helmet, a cycling helmet, a motor bike helmet and a selection of rather fine woolly hats (more impressive than the socks I have to say) - will need to think long and hard about appropriate head wear for emergency accidents whilst updating a diary. Obviously can't wear them all:D

Safety footwear of course - stripey socks and wellingtons
(will I need the steel toe cap ones?? Dunno will need to rifle through my wellie collection and check what's appropriate)

Scientist goggles or just normal ski goggles?

    Fingerless mittens should be ok.

Didn't know it would be such a high risk activity.

You of course have your riding hat to hand, just do me a favour and hide your crop - I am very very scared of stingy things:
    bees
    nettles
riding crops (although I have no personal experience I am sure they hurt)
    Towel flicking
    needles (injections)

DD has a triple or a quadrooooople sleepover for tonight (DS has left the building and will return tomorrow henceforth at 4.30ish)

Sleepovers are great by having a quadrooooooooople one whist its not much more chaotic than a normal sleepover - (honest)

HOWEVER - payback is ace - :D as no one else is so silly as to invite 3 or 4 of them at once, she gets invited back to her pals houses individually so for the price of one sleepover here we get 3 in return instead of only 1:D :D:D

bit like BOGOF - but for the world of parents its wonderful - means some quiet time...........

back to the reviewing unixgirl - glad you like your new hair do
Elantan - boys don't notice much do they

    - my OH has just 'bought' me flowers they arrived today - wonderful - I thanked him via text and he said 'glad you liked them - enjoy'

does he even remember he didn't order them??????

no of course not cos I ordered them - but he has very nicely just deposited the cash for them into my bank:rotfl:

  • On second thoughts - DD will be mortified if I wear any of the safety gear - then again 4 girls age 12 in the house????

I will dig it out just in case and keep it to hand.

You forgot the waterproof pants in the safety equipment list...

Riding crops don't have to hurt, they can be a turn on for some people, but that's another story...No, it's not. I used to have a boyfriend who as soon as he had had a glass of wine would beg me to hit his bare bottom with my riding crop
