Can i legally avoid a Speeding fine/points?
Comments

When you pay it and your points have finally expired – then it'll end.0
-
Is there a specific reason that you want to avoid the points? Insurance purposes?
It seems that you need to pay up and take the points.
At the end of the day, you were speeding, and have admitted doing so.
FWIW - Most dangerous drivers dont think they are driving dangerously, and think they are in control of their car. At some point you may be caught out.
Why take the risk?0 -
the principle of being innocent until proven guilty should be abandonned? After all these tenets remain (just) two of the cornerstones of our judicial system or am I being far too naive?
'Innocent until proven guilty' does not apply for speeding tickets! You are guilty unless you feel like spending several court visits, lawyers fees, expert consultation fees, etc, in proving that equipment is at fault, not calibrated, used incorrectly, etc. Of course you're not allowed your right to remain silent either, as it's not in the public interests to allow human rights in such instances.
Basically if you are 'caught' (even if you were actually within the limit and it was faulty equipment) you should just accept that it's not worth the bother and to take the hit, unless it will land you with a ban or similar in which case you can go through all the joys of the court system and the prejudice that courts show in speeding cases.matched betting: £879.63

Hi gimp
When i said "this" i thought it was obvious i meant the opinionated responses to a simple question i initially asked. But obviously not...
There's no chance of this ending till you stop posting, the vocal minority on this site will keep hounding you for speeding.
Have you been over to http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php? they are more simpathic to this type of thing.0 -

That was suggested to the OP in post number 3.
But they do like to come back for more for some reason.0 -
My last post said it all really.
My question was: Can i legally avoid speeding fine/points?
The majority of responses have been your own opinion of my act of speeding, and not answering the question asked in any way, shape or form.
There have been a couple of helpful and informative posts so thanks for those.
All i wanted from the thread was if anyone knew of a loophole so that i could get away with it. From the few useful responses i now have my answer. I never once said i shouldn't have to pay or that i wouldn't pay. I was looking for a legal way not to pay. Nothing wrong with that.
