No, I don't use the internet at home. I do all that stuff at work because I sell stuff for work collegues that are clueless.

Thank you ever so much for all your help. Starting to calm down now but I just need to know how on earth they have hacked into my account.

Ok, well here are all the possibilities I can think of. Don't be too ready to rule them all out, because one of them must be the cause.

Keylogger on one or more machine
    Insecure wifi
    Phishing email
Someone else finding or guessing your password

Antiviruses are never 100%, they can also get out of date if not updated regularly. Have you had all the Windows updates?
I would drop by the techie forum and see what they suggest.

Just had a call off the second seller. The chap has done the same thing to him as well.
Can I get my money back off paypal?

Can they get their money back from paypal seeing as the chap collected it from them?

    I doubt leagally you can.

There are two stolen items in your transaction, the item you sold and the money paid for it via paypal (even though at the time it was just numbers in your account).

The money has been returned to the original owner. (Hacked paypal account owner) Therefore paypal are not in possession of any cash and I doubt they have an insurance policy for such like.

Your item is now stolen property making you a victim of crime. (Deception) As you have not had your item returned it looks like your going to be the only one to have lost out. Do you have contact details for the buyer?

Um, did I miss something? OP hasn't sold anything. (Nothing that's relevant to this thread at least) And they ARE the owner of the hacked PP account.

Sorry a blonde moment. The OP will get the money back from paypal and the original seller(s) will be out of pocket.
