    Morning - I am jealous of both the stripy socks/ flowery doc martens combination and Piquant's leopardskin shoes! I have a boring black sock / shoe combination.
    Lots of snow here today, so I am not going to attempt to get in to work. I had a long and scary journey yesterday in the remains of the last lot:eek: I was quite surprised that no attempts seemed to have been made to clear even the major roads :confused:

    So far I have:
    HM breakfast
    Checked online banking
    Moved £8 from Green Metropolis sales to savings pot
    Seen to animals, all unimpressed with the weather conditions. Made small dog go out for a wee and it came right up to her tummy! She would have called the RSPCA there and then if she'd had a phone handy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    When I had bigger dogs, they always seemed to quite like the snow. It must be down to the ratio of height of tummy to depth of show:D That would make quite a good scientific study wouldn't it Fay?

    Later I will:
    Make warming (and cheap) soup for lunch from some ham stock I found in the depths of the freezer, plus various vegetables.
    Store cupboard tea - can't get out to the shops anyway, as the main road that I have to get onto (after having negotiated the lane :eek:) is blocked apparently due to a series of accidents - an NSD then!
    Clean a room with products I already have.

    I am sure I will do other things and not sit on here all day!
    Have a good day everyone :wave:

    morning everyone.

    Been up since 5am.. small amount of snow on ground. Don't want to really go out as its quite cold.

    I have did a wash at 30 and hung on screen over bath to save on dryer. heating is on so it should dry reasonably quickly.

    I have 101 things to do but need a boot up the bum.

    I have nerve damage in my hands due to a disorder that is attacking the central nervous system. Apparently I should be claiming DLA because I cannot cook etc because I am a danger to myself (can't feel hot or cold) Spent some tiem in A&E on Monday due to an incident with hot water and my left hand. I have had the forms for 4 weeks now and still haven't started to fill them out. I must do it and do it soon. Need to have a mega declutter too.

    Today I have/will
    • [STRIKE]wash at 30 and indoor dry[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]check online banking[/STRIKE]
    • attack DLA forms
    • redo SOA as leccy DD increased
    • try catch up on surveys
    • Do more STP
    • [STRIKE]Do mystery shop phonecall[/STRIKE]
    • Type up mystery shop report and submit
    • write to abbey for explanation of £25 charge when account has £80 in it and has for months with no DD set up :confused:
    • email experian again. i told them they had my mothers c card on my credit file but obviouly with her DOB and her address and they sent me an email saying 'sorry you have been a victim of ID fraud we have contacted the company concerned who will investigate' umm no I haven't I told you that the account was my mothers at her address not mine (same name) and I left that address 5 years ago! :mad: :mad:

  • Morning all!!

    Heavy snow here :snow_laug . Well, heavy for swindon! About 3 inches lol!

    Stuck in all day as little one not going to nursery - they are very short staffed plus he's still poorly.

    Dads popping over lunchtime (he works near where I live) for a sandwich and to stop me going stir crazy I think!

    So I should be quite productive today.....in theory....

    * Check on-line banking
    * Washing x 3
    * Airer dry most but will have to tumble some :o
    * Do any surveys that come in
    * Resist urge to smash Postman Pat DVD into many small pieces
    * Not going anywhere (unless can get to work later) so petrol saved
    * Free dinner - Mum gave me a nice pie yesterday
    * Sparkle
    * Post pictures of snow on facebook so cousin in NZ can see them - he's most annoyed he flew back to NZ two days before the snow arrived!:D

    Miss P
    xx

  • MISS p - MUTE THE SOUND on the TV AND IF PIGLET Is A SPORT - WONT MIND NO SOUND - JUST say ITS BROKEN OR NEEDING A REST. Or if he is amenable - stick a pair of headphones in the tv and on the wee'ones noggin.

    sorry for shouting
    or alternatively stick you mp3 player on lowish or the radio and just tune it out. Easier said than done......

    pingu has me cringing still - a legacy of videos from a chum.

    Maybe freecycle request for more dvds?

    no help at alll I am afraid!!!!
