OK Andan (and others) says these soapnuts are good - any idea where to get a trial?

Read some good some bad things about the laundry balls - its alot of cash for something that 'might' not work. I haven't ever been very impressed by eco-washing powder - although the other products are good - I have never found the washing laundry stuff much good.

Well done on the chicken poaching - good initiative!!

If you go on the freebie board they are doing a free trial of them on there (soapnuts) I have plenty of soap powder and i know it prob sounds silly, but i'd rather just stick with that instead!!

Thanks SM, i have answered her, poor Bails, i have an awful habit of rambling when it is a subject i am passionate about. I could talk for hours about the children i work with.

  • Evening all!

Tallie, I feel your pain on the car - I fell out with my neighbours about a year ago (over him being drunk and threatening to 'smack me one' for asking him to stop effing and jeffing in front of all the kids in the street  ) and ever since my car has had the back windscreen wier snapped off and been keyed, scratched and bumped. No proof of course, but I have my suspicions  I've had the wing mirror cover pulled off the drivers side for ages, then a couple of weeks ago the passenger side was taken off, so really need to replace them both but too bloody skint! Also, got MOT booked tomorrow and it's bound to fail so execting a big bill there

Had a rough week at work but a friend called over earlier for some help with her cv and brought me a bunch of flowers so I feel all happy for now :D

    Anwyay, today's list:

    - post here to keep me on track
    - free scratchcard - 20p today! :j
    - quidco clicks
    - cashback rewards clicks - had an email from them last night and decided to start using it again - had almost £9 in there and their daily clicks are worth about 20p a day so I'm gonna give it a ush to get a tenner!
    - check freebies board
    - enter at least 10 comps
    - made HM soup last night but used some cabbage and it stinks, so putting off eating it as long as possible (but refuse to waste it!)
    - had free lunch at work
    - look into getting a sky+ box for DS' bedroom (he's paying with his b'day cash) - see what deal I can get (and hopefully cashback too ;) )
    - talked friend into letting me refer her to get sky installed so we'll both get £50 of M&S vouchers :D

First ever report of my socks - my starsign (Leo) with my traits printed 'broad minded and expensive' ;)
Think that's about it for today! Have a good evening everyone
