t-mobile upgrades
Hi guys, iv been following this site for a few months now, sent off for many free samples and reduced my sky pakage by 1/3!
Now i have a problem with my t-mobile contract. Ive been with them for about 13 months on an 18 month contract, im going to try haggelling with them to cut my costs and/or give me a free upgrade. Has anyone had any problems doin this on T-mobile? Any pointers? Cheers

Try managing your account online @ t-mobile. If you are entitled to an upgrade, it will show you the range available and the cost. I was on an 19 month contract, however after 12months my upgrade came through and the option to reduce my monthly costs to the equivalent on offer to New Customers.0

Hi m8, you should be able to downgrade your tariff, T-Mobile only allows you to do this after 11 months but the tariff you choose really depends on you. You should ask them about their all new Flext tariffs, that is only availble to 18 month contracters, for example Flext 35 @ £35 per month will give you £180 of free xnet calls and text allowance. This could give you upto 900 minutes per month! Ive made another thread about it here:

Anyway, it seems the old tactics of threathening to cancel may not work in your case becuase you still have about 5 months to go. Also if you ask for the cancellation department, the say that they are that department... hmm come to think of it if that was the case, why do they still need to consult someone else then... Could they be getting more cleverer?Whatever You're Into, Get Into Shisha0 -
I got my rental reduced from £15 to £5 a month by agreeing to not upgrade this year. Apparently if you do your upgrades directly with them rather than through a shop they offer you the upgrade a month earlier.
They happened to phone me 1 day after I'd clicked the "Due an upgrade?" button online - maybe that prompts them to offer you early as I was only 10 months into the 12 month contract.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
