T-Mobile Flext (900 x-net mins for £35) - 18 month contract
This was taken from another website, originally posted by Simonli:
This is not a bargain in terms if being cheap, but looks like the best detail for getting a lot of minutes just for £35 per month.
T-Mobile Flext
Flext is a flexible mobile tariff is an 18 month contact and offer two levels:
Flext25: Pay £25 per month and get £60 allowance on texts, all calls, voicemail and picture messages
Flext35: Pay £35 per month and get £180 allowance on texts, all calls, voicemail and picture messages
Some examples on the T-mobile site show:
Example 1
750 minutes (£150)
200 texts(£20)
20 picture messages (£4)
10 minutes voicemail (£1)
Example 2
600 minutes (£120)
495 texts (£49.50)
50 picture messages (£10)
5 minutes voicemail (50p)
Example 3
860 minutes (£172)
54 texts (£5.40)
10 picture messages (£2)
6 minutes voicemail (60p)
Now ive been looking into this as I currently pay £29 for the Euro Full Time tariff that gives me 290Xnet minutes + 50 text messages so you can imagine how happy I was on hearing this. So I called them up to transfer over to the new tariff only to be told that it can be done. According to the rep I spoke to, IF I was on an 18 month contract, then I could move straight away! Becuase I was on a 12 month contract, the computer says no *cough* (well the rep said it couldn't be done!). You can imagine how much I was fuming, apparently I cant change until sometime in June, then id have to sign up to a 18 month contract! All was not lost however, she did tell me to wait til march 1st when these tariffs are suppose to officially come into force, apparently there will be a whole host of additional packages availble, including some for us 12 months contract people!
To summerise, if you are on an 18 month contract, have a look at your tariff, se if you can get a better deal, if you're paying more than £30 for a tariff that gives you less than 900 Xnet minutes, you really SHOULD consider calling them to change the tariff over.
Im gonna have to wait til March 1st to see waht options I have available...

i hope they bring out a flext 12 month tarriff0

How about trying the o2 online 500 tariff...also 35 pounds...and offers 750 XNET minutes and 750 texts...OR 1000 XNET minutes and 150 Texts..0

The problem is, im already in a contract. When I take out second contracts they are usally cashback schemes to reduce the cost. The o2 online tariff does sound mighty appealing though! I don't see this tariff though on o2s website.Whatever You're Into, Get Into Shisha0

This flext isn't too bad just shame its with t mobile and it would be better if someone did it with cashback too I've looked on sites and its not offered anywhere with cashback at allThanx

Thanx but it doesnt make it clear if its cross network anytime as the only one on text 500 on the tariffs page is for off peak. If it is the right one they really are incompetent then at o2 because I was a potential customer asking for information and they couldnt be bothered to check it out.
Its also a different phone, he other was a sony ericsson I don't know what that phone is likeThanx

Im going to phone them tommorow and try and blag the best phone i can..will let you know of my progress!0
