Tell them that your maid is suing you for not providing a safe working environment and you intend to go for them with a counter action for consequential loss..

Actually you saying that I am quite surprised by 14 yr old hasn't suggested suing them, that seems to be his answer to everything - thanks guys you have been really helpful, I will come back to you hopefully with good news - and if nothing else I can get warm shovelling snow!

Clearly milder out today as we have nearly got up to 20C albeit slowly.

Still doesn't sound right to me. It's only 1C here, so it's not that much milder....

It clearly isn't right but a bit of respite from the cold whilst waiting for them to sort it out is very welcome.

    Bushy,

Without looking at the system, my first impression would be that the fault is the heat pump (as richard said). The pipes coming from it should most certainly be hot, not just warm.

Whereabouts in the UK are you?

hi chippy I'm near Guildford. Popped on here to update you guys. I am furious, meeting was 10am this morning and at 9.15 I had a call to say the manufacturer couldn't now make the appointment. I went off to another meeting and so avoided reacting immediately but have come home and winged an email off to the builder. If I can't get hold of them on the phone tomorrow then I am going to consider getting my solicitor to give them a nudge - trouble is all these things take time and money of course given the house was eventually built out under administration it probably isn't going to be easy.

    Hey ho
