the chocolate hearts are gorgeous though! Has them for pudding tonight. Not too sickly, just right.

omg not fair we asked if we could have a sub as hubby needs a glutin free diet and he couldn't eat any of the starters they didn't have the full range of foods.
The manager said no it's tuff as the till only sees starter main side and pud so we would get charged for it. We wanted the chese platter or extra side dish but he wouldn't budge so well done you must have a nice manager.

i would have had chocs instead of the rose too they all looked dead! grumble grumble.
It's a bit bad that there wasn't any leeway when we actually needed to sub due to a medical condtion.

If the 'old dears' can grasp the value of an M&S meal deal I suspect they know what date it is and can grasp the significance of 14 February!

I got mine today. They didnt have everything on offer, but think lots had sold out as they had people standing at the doors handing out leaflets about the deal which they had been doing most of the week.

Anyway I managed to get:

Prawn cocktail
Duck In Orange (only 2 left)
Mash
Chocolate Puds
Rose Cava
and Mint chocs instead of rose.

i was there the minute the store opened they didnt have prawn cocktail or mash
but i got

cheese and mushroom tartlet
steak rump
chocalate pudding
chips
rose
and rosecava

I went to Cheltenham's Kingsditch Store last night and got:

Camembert & Bruschetti
Mushroom Nut Roast
New Potatoes with Herbs
Valentines Triple Chocolate Desserts
Bluff Hill Sparkling
Mint chocs instead of a wilting rose :j

Its not advertised in the store about the mint chocs but I asked a SA (after seeing it mentioned on here) who was so helpful and even went to the checkout with me to make sure they scanned through ok. Both the SA and the lady on checkout said they were going to put their roses back and get chocs instead :rotfl:
