I got the meal deal today in M&S Welwyn GC and was able to substitute the mint chocs for the rose. I lwas looking at the roses (a bit droopy and sad looking) when a nice M&S lady read my mind and told me I could have chocs instead - yay.
I also got
Cook scallops with chorizo
Cook rack of lamb
Meditterranean veg
Valentine choc pots
New Zealand sparkling wine0 -
i dont know how the tills were keeping up with the alterations from store to store, as although the advert says you can have chocs instead of wine, my store wasnt doing chocs as part of the deal, and there should be no substitution for the rose at any store (unless sold out)
my main problem was choosing which dessert to go for, if money saving then i should have gone for the choc heart dessert being the most expensive, but it was also the smallest one, so i went for the cheese instead, as although it was the cheapest it was the biggest lol
