Not true. Commercial funding via sales and ads. C4 is owned by the public though Channel Four Television Corporation.torontoboy45 wrote: »believe it or not: C4 has a public service remit. sad, eh? some of your license pounds fund it.
C4 would love to get some BBC money (they in big trouble) but that recently was ruled out and look like being forced into shotgun marriage to channel Five.0 -

It's one less property pimp. It's got to be good news. Maybe he'll go and do something useful now.Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

Say what you like about the programme and its' presenters (oh, you already have
).
I do think that property finder co's can be a good idea in some circumstances. A colleague relocated 350 miles 2 years ago. They were quite specific about the type of property they were after but rightmove et al gave them a 'short' list of over 150 properties  and the estate agents were useless at helping filter out. After 4 wasted weekends at around £500 per weekend they contacted a property finding co. After 3 weeks they were given a short list of 5 properties to view and while viewing got a call about another one coming on the market which they viewed immediately & bought. All other 5 were also pretty much spot on. Property co negotiated a good price for house, including reduced fee for sellers as estate agent had to do no work. The fee was worth it to them - property co did the donkey work & research & their contacts meant they were 1st to hear about new house.
Expect they've gone bust now
. Maybe this could be a career opportunity for me when things look up...... I have Kirsty's figure already, now to start on the shoes
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Phil Madoff had this coming for a very long time. It was longer overdue.Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
