Well, I've done it!
Down to Lidl first thing and purchased myself a black wally-tolley with dusky pink trim. It folds flat for storage but the only downside on this model is that the handle isn't collapsible, unlike the ones they had last year.
It's really easy to pull along, handles kerbs well, and I got DS2 to pull it back to the car, fully loaded. Well, actually, he insisted on pulling it
Off to unload all my Lidl 1/2 price fruit and veg out of it now. Wonder what Mr TM will say about this then0 -
Have no idea what they areFRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!
Down to both Lidls near here this am - no sign of any trolleies - back to website - this is GB only and not NI.
Still maybe this is a good excuse to buy aRolser one??“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

I heard back from Mr Smallman and he says he CAN do replacement bags for Rolser trolleys :T . Next problem... which one
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Well, Mr TM hasn't noticed it yet - it's hanging on the wall in the garage - black bag on white wall
Anyway - I have to go into town tomorrow and need to go to the butchers as I'm out of fresh meat - that'll be about 15 lbs weight I'll be bringing back as well as stuff from the greengrocers.
I think I'll have to start wearing a tea cosy hat and a gaudy mac as well as me moonboots, cos the only other people I've seen pulling wally-tolleys around here all look like they keep 17 cats and should be called Mrs Trebus :rotfl:0 -

With a trolley you won't be breaking your back, so show 'em how it should be done
Does your trolley match your moonboots BTW?My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Don't tell me I have to buy something else
I think as and when I can afford a funky rolser, then I'll co-ordinate with me shoes
However, I can put me black high-heeled boots on tomorrow - they'll matchMind you - I'll still end up with sore feet
Can't I be comfy instead?

Love them?My trolley is tiny when folded. It is the length of a sheet of A4 paper and the width is about half that. It folds up and velcros together and then when you need to use it you unvelcro it, unfold it and pop the wheels up. It won't hold as much as a lot of others but it has been great for car booting, putting books and pottery in.0

HOLsale wrote:dh used to say he was going to convert our 3 wheel pram into a shopping trolley for me once dd outgrew it, unfortunatly we just didn't have the space in our flat for it so it's gone
would still love something like that though, how handy would that be! just think how much you could get in it if you built up the sides and front, plus you'd be able to keep the rain off it with the rain cover too!
that reminds me of when my oh had random grannys admiring our new baby....
we'd only gone out for a walk, and ended up stopping at the supermarket, where he saw a great offer on beer. so i carried baby home in the sling [mostly hidden under coat], and the 3 wheeler was full of large boxes of beer. being slightly embarrased by this, i pulled the hood and the cosytoes up....so they had to come up REALLY close to coo at the baby....i walked off ahead and left him to it!

Love them?Right, enough of this Old Style lurking and longing, time to post . No Lidl by us, purchased my 'chariot of buyer' (groan) in covered market but had to pay £15 boo hiss. Also DD6 insisted on bright blue variant as the navy was too boring and the red too christmassy apparently. Now off to Wolverhampton market for fruit and veg plus DD has been promised a trip to the art gallery, free entrance will sadly be offset by sticky buns in the coffee shop but hey it's educational :-)Nothing in it, nothing in it but a ribbon round it .....0

Welcome to OS LucyLocket :hello:. I'm chuffed to bits that this was your first post :A
Bright blue is good. And I love "Chariot of buyer" (cut to beach, Slo-mo camera pan of large group of Oldstylers jogging along the water line towing laden shoppers... Baguettes and carrot tops waving in the breeze... ) :rotfl:
Sooz, loved the thought of peeps admiring the boxes of beer... and the looks they would have given your OH when they realised :rotfl:
Shopsmile, where did you find your trolley? It sounds brilliant :TShopsmile wrote:My trolley is tiny when folded. It is the length of a sheet of A4 paper and the width is about half that.
