Tesco: Misrepresentation of meat product

My wife returned from Tesco at Talbot Green today with "Norfolk Outdoor Reared Pork Rump Steaks" written in large print on the front of the pack. The front of the pack also showed a picture of full grown pigs in a field with the farmer. The rear of the pack stated in small print, that "The pigs are initially raised outside with their mothers, then moved to warm, dry, uncrowded barns." This is gross misrepresentation and a quite deliberate lie! The pigs are not reared outdoors - they are part-reared outdoors while suckling. The pigs in the photo were not suckling pigs! Goodness knows what conditions they suffer while confined to the barns.
Anyone who saw Jamie Oliver's programme on pig-rearing this weekend would be fully aware of the lies that are being told about the welfare of pig rearing.
The chops are going back to Tesco but it will require a special trip to do so. I am extremely annoyed! My wife has also complained to Tesco over the phone but I expect nothing other than a defensive response. Tesco knew full well what they were doing!

artists impression that is clearly not of the particular animals
But it doesnt actually say that its not the chops from the actual picture though . Think ill complain. oh no wait a minute, got more important things going on in my life! ! !0 -
The clue is in the phrase 'outdoor reared'. This means they were reared (that is brought to maturity or thereabouts) outside. There's nothing in that phrase which says, implicitly or explicitly that they spent their entire lives outdoors. In fact, from what I know about pigs they like to go indoors, especially if it's cold or wet.
Sorry but I can't see any 'lie' here at all.
And, whilst I am at it, your poll is almost entirely meaningless. Very few, if any of the correspondents to this forum are going to have an objective, verifiable answer. So most, if not all of the responses are going to be based on prejudice and supposition.
