Hi everyone *waves feebly*
Lots to catch up with over the weekend; I don't suppose I'll remember half of it, but here goes:
Tiger sorry for your loss
Raeh sorry to hear you had a bad time at doc's.
Suep I hope you're feeling better
CwtA I hope you can find a really nice house soon
BZ I can certainly relate to the "feeling useless" thing - and how in the sam hell have you refrained from strangling MiL2B?
Jamla I was hoping to eventually get a greyhound - maybe I should opt for a labrador instead LOL
Tria just how many actresses have you been photographed with?
*waves* to everyone else.
I should really be getting on with packing my suitcase, but I need a break from it, cos I'm cream crackered. Did a load of gardening on Saturday (we got 7 black bags full of garden rubbish, between us) and my back is still complaining insistently that it was a bad idea.
The good news is that after tomorrow, the thread will be a Wolf-free zone for 10 days!
Oh, and my bread machine died on Saturday morning, so we had to dash into town and get a new one.
Right, I really must get off my posterior and get some packing done.
Later, folks.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
everyone talking about bread machine to day ,think will have to rescue the one from mums , just getting the taste, mmmm
when i walk the labrador (my brothers) often my legs get worn out and i put lead around her neck like shed dog and she pulls me up the small incline. think need to get roller skates. she is so good. people must think im blind,as she walk like blind helper dog in front of you.
lamewolf enjoy your break away we will miss youthe truth is out there ... on these pages !!0 -
lw have a wonderful, restful time away - where are you going?
I have to say Greyhounds are absolutely wonderful dogs - really gentle, friendly temprements, but take off fast if they see somethng to chase like a rabbit or small dog. We have to muzzle ours outside as if they got hold of something it would be curtains.
Spoke to Housefairy today and she thinks the place next door to her may be up for rent! Perfect area for me and her as a friend next door would be wonderful. She's gonna talk to owners tonight and let me know. Please keep fingers etc crossed for me.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Ooh, that would be good, CwtA I shall definitely keep everything crossed for you (insomuch as it doesn't interfere with my driving LOL)
We're going to Orkney, starting out early (ish) on Thursday morning, so I'll probably be online some time tomorrow, then that'll be it til 8th June.
Mr LW has been there before, but it was with a coach tour, so he couldn't do what he wanted, had to go with the itinerary; and I've never been before, so hopefully, we'll enjoy it.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Tell you what... it's a good job BIL and sis brought over their old tele yesterday - cos the sound on mine is non-existant today!! Now that's what you call good timing!
I've not been up long but the sun is shining through the windy breeze, so considering putting another coat of paint on... esp as the tele's not working and I cba to hook the other one upHmmm...maybe a spot of lunch first...?
