Good to see you posting Sharon. Do take care of yourself, it'd be lovely to see more of you, but only when you feel up to it.

Glad you had a nice day yesterday, and will keep my paws crossed that your bloodwork comes back OK so that you can start on your bone building stuff.

Thankyou for all the concern, but I think Im starting to get a phobia bout going to the doctors after my last app, after pouring my heart out about how bad the pain is and then being told 'what do you want me to do about it' was a bit off putting, I think half the trouble is my doctors dont know anything about Fibro so they wouldn't know whats a symptom and what isn't and the other half is they probably dont even believe in it. I'll see what Im like over the weekend and if Im still bad I'll make an app on Monday, but make sure I see a different doctor to the last one.
Ive just remembered one of my friends went to London last week to the Fibro clinic to see Proff Davies, I must email her and see how she got on.

Sharon Im glad you had a good day out yesterday and that you have such a good friend as Seaside I hope you can start the bone building meds soon.

OMG !! we've only got 7 hours left to chat !! what are we going to do all weekend ? how about those that want to can exchange email addys ?
Pm me if you want mine :D

  • Suep It doesn't help when the gp's aren't up to much. Do you need to back to consultant to discuss better pain relief? At least then the gp will know what to prescribe and you can discuss head symptom as well with someone who knows what they're talking about?
sharon, that means it's your daughter's birthday! Hope you have a good day and it's lovely to hear that you have such a good friend to share things with.
Don't you worry about keeping up, lurk as much as you want and just wave at us every so often. I still need to PM you those author names - sorry!

Ditto to Sue - if anyone wants my email addy, just PM. Come one, come all!

Well I'm awake again - of a fashion ;) - I originally set an alarm to wake me up at 2.30pm but I didn't sleep very well at first so I changed it to 3.30pm. I'm a bit gutted to be awake cos it was really good sleep that I woke from, but I'm determined to try and sleep better at nights. With the housewarming I might accidently [strike]on purpose[/strike] have some spritzers with my meds, a l! Jo.;)

Think this will be a long one as memory is shocking so prepare for some multiquotes!
raeh, I haven't heard when your doc's appointment is yet ;):D
Wonderful that you'll have a couple of weeks to REST :p You can always just act as a taxi for the kids rather than taking part in all the activities if you don't feel up to it?
Funny that Auntie Axe I was thinking the same thing...:D

I still think bz has wonderful pre-raphelite hair and it would be a crime to cut it short.
I still think I don't know what pre-raphelite means! :o I do need to get a couple of inches chopped off though. It grows so fast and although I want it long for the wedding I need to be able to manage it the meantime...and at the moment I'm just not!

I'm not sure about this obsession with front bottoms, but the best word I heard was "foof". *g*. BTW my gramps used to call me "Tup" short for tuppence. :o
Maybe I had a habit of fannying around :D
    :rotfl: How appropriate! :p

Get used to it Ms Axe, there ain't no one way streets round here you know! :D

    Front or back??:D

Thank you lw, I forgot (again) to say I loved the piccies of the goggies. I want to adopt Axel, although I suspect the cat may have something to say about that - but she can have an opinion when she contributes to the household *g*.

A kick in the front bottom doesn't sound nice!
What are goggies Auntie Axe? *cue innocent face before running away swifly!*
Axel is very well behaved with cats actually, and tolerates their weird behaviours incredibly patiently. You still can't have him though! :D
I got in trouble at primary school for an alledged "front bum" kicking. I still protest my innocence.

My baby isn't eating yet so I can't have him tomorrow. That means no chat from you lot and no cute cuddly baby to occupy me all weekend
Kass, it's no wonder I can't work out how many kids you've got!! :rotfl:
Besides, no chat is not strictly true...you have me on Facebook :D Anyone else got Facebook on here?

I have been feeling bit ropey -and my morphine has been increased and whilst the pain is better in my leg l am feeling sleepy and spaced out!
I don't know what it's like to be on morphine, but I'd take a stab in the dark and say it's at least 10 times worse than Tramadol... you have my sympathies! Will pray the bloodwork comes back favourably.

I suggested the same thing yesterday/day before and didn't get any response....guess no one wants to talk to me...

I have to have a shower, tidy the house and think of something for tea and eat it before 8pm. What are my chances, d'ya think?

i will just keep checking on sunday, they said as early as possible so my refresh key can have some work. its going to be a very long weekend.

sharon happy birthday to your daughter, enjoy your meal tonight.

jamla page 54 of this thread tells all, it was careful who saw them.
  • sue, I think they're hoping to get back online as soon as possible and it's just gonna be a case of how long the upgrade takes. I suspect site will look a bit different when it's all done.
jamla, if yo go back a couple of pages, I've given the report on the Northern Lights trip.
A bit chuffed as have managed to find a replacement power supply and battery for old backup laptop on ebay at £15 each rather than nearly £100 for the two elsewhere. No way am I gonna risk a bz type situation without the internet lifeline.
