  • Hi all, first post for me.

Firstly, a big thanks to Martin, so far I've had £900 back in PPI claims.

A question for everyone though. On top of this, I have had an offer from Lloyds to refund my PPI on my old loan, plus interest. I have filled in the acceptance form, and sent it back. Can anyone tell me how long Lloyds take to actually send the money to my bank account?

    Cheers

Just posted a big long post about LCUK am so mad.....got a call from FOS who are advising that they are sending my 2nd case for a full adjudication as they have not heard from LCUK after emailing them at least half a dozen times am so mad.....:mad:

He also said he should warn me that my case may not be upheld by the adjudicator and I might lose it altogether. great eh I have wasted just about a yr doing this and I see other people on here winning with both FP and LCUK am so mad and so unhappy feel like crap today anyway as I am choked with the cold so this isnt helping one little bit and jst wondereig if someone up there doesnt like me or I have broken a few mirrors over the yrs to get all this bad luck!

    Oh the joys!

Havent heard from WF so suppose that one is out for this month too dont understand why people can mess with your finances but when you mess with them and dont pay they are on your case....having no luck ! :(

    Hi there

First of all well done and congratulations.:T:beer:

Right well my hubby is still waiting and its about 12=13 weeks on, however this was dealt with by the FOS, as yours is direct with LLoyds it may be quicker, chase them up by a month if you hear nothing, good luck.;)

    Hi there

Yes you can, for whatever reason(s) you have give it a go, they have 8 weeks in full to respond, do not worry about writing down the amounts, if succesful they should provide you with a detailed written breakdown.

More info on the link below, a checklist of mis selling reasons, template letters and so on.

Good luck, please keep us posted and yell for help anytime too.:)

I think and hope you do receive yours soon, but it could be because we have a few issues going on with them as well.
    Fingers crossed for you.;)

    Hi Di

Thank you for your reply. I requested the information in writting and included a cheque for £1.00 for their costs of printing the documents. They told me that the information was not available. (I never got my cheque back!!)
Should I now send of the SAR letter, or should I wait for them to complete their investigation?

Hi Leigh they should send you your payment back if they are unable to supply you with your info, give the Information Commissioners Office a ring (ICO) about this and see what they advice here:
    https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx

If you want to send a SAR request that is entirely up to you, however there is a £10 charge for this request payable in cheque or by postal order and they have 40 days to comply with this request.
    SAR template letter here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1475553
I would though contact them and remind them of the payment you have already made and you have not received this back on being told the info was not available.

So if you want to see what happens about the investigation first that is also entirely up to you and maybe take it from there.;)

    Good luck with this.
